Magic Johnson... announces that he is stepping down as president of basketball operations from the Lakers... We all thought when he did it, we're like, oh, he is upset because he can't tamper as president. And so he wants to retire to spend more time with his tampering.
Magic literally said in his resignation press conference that he wanted to be 'free' to congratulate players and do things that would be considered tampering as an executive.

I think LeBron is going to fire everyone if they don't get another star. He'll go all the way up the ladder. He'll probably tell Jeannie Buss she's fired.
LeBron didn't actually fire Jeannie Buss (which he can't), but Luke Walton and Magic Johnson both left shortly after. The team eventually traded for Anthony Davis.
