Wearing an upside-down hat at Augusta is disgusting and beneath the tournament

I kind of agree with people who are like the upside down hat at the, at Augusta's bullshit. It's beneath Augusta. Yeah. And his defense, he was probably hammered... I saw the hat and I was like, this is disgusting. You can't do this to Augusta.

The sentiment of Augusta being a place for tradition is widely held, but the 'disgust' is subjective.

Statistically, you must be in the top six after the first round of the Masters to have a real chance to win

Trent was saying that like, statistically speaking, you basically have to be top six after the first round. Like anyone past that is not eliminated, but almost eliminated.

Rory McIlroy won the 2025 Masters despite being tied for 26th after the first round (he had two double bogeys on the back nine of round 1). This disproves the statistical claim.

Jordan Spieth is officially washed and no longer good at golf

I also didn't realize I learned this week that Jordan Spieth is just not good at golf anymore. No, he sucks. He was good for like three years, which ended in 2017. Now he stinks.

Partially correct. Spieth was in a massive slump, but he rebounded significantly in early 2021, winning the Valero Texas Open and finishing T3 at the 2021 Masters.

Sergio Garcia will repeat as Masters champion next year

I'm going to plant my flag in the ground right now and call it. I actually think Sergio is going to repeat next year. Okay, I think he's going back to...

Sergio Garcia missed the cut at the 2018 Masters after shooting a 13 on a single hole; Patrick Reed won the tournament.

The display of sportsmanship between Sergio Garcia and Justin Rose at The Masters was sickening and gross

Sergio and Justin Rose coming down the last few holes, they were rooting for each other almost to a sickening point. They were high-fiving each other. They were basically cheering each other on. It was gross. It was like Little League Baseball. Like, where everyone gets to play and, like, everyone has to say, like, the scouts honor after. It was gross.

This is a subjective opinion on the quality of sportsmanship displayed during the final round.
