The people who actually have a gripe, I'm going to get mad for Indiana fans. Indiana fans should be upset and they have a right to be upset because Iowa State has lost three games and they're going to a New Year's Six bowl. Indiana should have gone to the New Year's Six bowl. They should be ahead of a three-loss Iowa State team. It's stupid.
Indiana finished 6-1 (with the only loss to #3 Ohio State) but was ranked below 8-3 Iowa State, which went to the Fiesta Bowl.

USC... should have at least been discussed. They should have been ahead of Ohio State in some ways. And that's really what it comes down to, big losses. ... West Coast bias is back, officially back.
This is a subjective ranking argument, though Ohio State beat USC 24-7 in the Cotton Bowl that year, which undermined the argument.
