The Wizards fleeced the Mavericks in the Anthony Davis trade

I think that this is a great trade for the Wizards. I do. I think this was an absolute fleecing of the Dallas Mavericks... The two first round picks aren't really two first round picks. We didn't give up two first round picks. We gave out one that's protected that we're gonna keep. And then there's another one that could end up being like the 30th pick.

The trade outcome is pending the 2026-27 season performance of Davis in DC.

The Washington Wizards are 100% guaranteed to make the playoffs next season.

I am now a Wizards fan... I'm thinking the [playoffs] for sure next year... A hundred percent guaranteed. We're gonna be better than the [6% of the league]... You can't get to the [playoffs] unless you get in the [play-in].

The Wizards did not make the playoffs in 2027.

The Bulls are the big losers of the trade deadline because they are the dumbest organization

The bulls are a big loser because they didn't do anything that they should have done besides trade Zach LaVine... they didn't trade [Nikola] Vucevic. They didn't trade Coby White who seven teams were interested. And it's like, they're just the dumbest organization in [Arturas Karnisovas's] dumbest.

Subjective evaluation of team management.

The NBA trade deadline is rigged for the Lakers

Pretty much the, the big picture trade deadline is the, the, it's rigged for the Lakers.

The idea that the league 'rigs' trades for the Lakers is a subjective hot take that can't be proven.

The Brooklyn Nets lead the NBA in Australian guys who are afraid to take shots

I actually typed in the nets, lead the league and Australian guys who were afraid to take shots. And then I deleted it. I was like, no, I'll save that one for [the show].

A subjective comedic observation about team composition and player reputation.

Al Horford might be a locker room cancer

It could be Al, though. I mean, he was part of the Celtics last year. They were a locker room disaster. People think it was Kyrie. They're a locker room disaster. What's a common denominator?

The 2019-20 Sixers were indeed a disaster, and Horford was a poor fit, but he is widely regarded as one of the best locker room presences in the league (as evidenced by his successful second stint in Boston).
