And it's crazy to think that the Dodgers would be one of those teams, but they're gonna be one of those teams, whether they do it or not. They have all of the prospects, they have all of the money and they have obviously spent a lot of money to see what happens and to shake out on the other side.

Multiple sources indicate rival executives expect the Dodgers to pursue or even land Skubal, fulfilling the prediction that they would be 'one of those teams' in play, regardless of whether a trade ultimately occurs.
