Cooper Kupp is the most important player on the Rams

Here's a hot take. Team has Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey on it. Most important player, Cooper Kupp. I mean, they do look totally different when he's out there. Last year, their offense kind of went to shit... I said it.

While subjective, Kupp's importance was validated in 2021 when he won the Triple Crown and Super Bowl MVP, proving he was the engine of their championship offense.

My top four... Number one, Kevin Stefanski, Cleveland Browns. Agreed. Number two, Brian Flores, Miami Dolphins. I mean, the Dolphins have been bad forever, and he's basically turned this thing around... Number three, Mike Tomlin. Number four... it's Joe Judge.

Kevin Stefanski did win the NFL Coach of the Year award for the 2020 season.

The Saints will 'peak too early' if they beat the Chiefs in two weeks

If the Saints beat the Chiefs in two weeks, they will officially have peaked too early. That will be the official moment where it's like, nope, can't have that. Peek too early. The Saints are going to fall apart in the playoffs because they've already done their best football.

The Saints actually lost to the Chiefs in Week 15 (32-29). They did eventually lose in the Divisional round of the playoffs to the Buccaneers.

8-8 will make the playoffs in the NFC this year

8-8, 9-7 will get to the playoffs in the NFC this year. It falls off a deep end because of how bad the NFC East is collectively... I actually do think 8-8 can make the playoffs with the way the Cardinals are playing and with the way the Bears have just fallen off.

The Chicago Bears made the 2020 NFC playoffs as the 7th seed with an 8-8 record.

Carson Wentz will be the Colts' quarterback next season and will be good again

No, he's going to be a Colt... Phillip Rivers is not obviously going to be there for more than maybe a year more... And he'll get reunited with Frank Reich and be behind a good offensive line. They've got a couple nice little young weapons. So he will be a Colt. And guess what? Unfortunately for Philly fans, he's going to be good. He will be good again.

Wentz was indeed traded to the Colts for the 2021 season. However, he was inconsistent and was traded away after one season, making the 'good again' part only partially true.

The Cleveland Browns can win the Super Bowl if they play like they did today

These Cleveland Browns, and when I say these, I mean the Cleveland Browns that we saw today, these Cleveland Browns can win the Super Bowl. They're not going to play like this... That was the funnest half of football that I've seen all year from any team.

The Browns did not win the Super Bowl; they lost in the Divisional round to the Chiefs.

Baker Mayfield is a good quarterback you can win with, but never a top five guy

I think we all know kind of what Baker is now. He is a good quarterback that can play great at times, but he's good. I don't think Baker will ever be a top five quarterback in the league, but you can win with Baker Mayfield.

This has largely proven true; Baker has been a starter and led teams to playoffs but has never consistently been ranked among the NFL's elite top five quarterbacks.

Pete Carroll has swung too far into 'Let Russ Cook' and needs to run more

You know what's funny is this is a week where Pete Carroll should have reverted to old Pete Carroll and been like, we're going to establish the fucking run... Pete Carroll has swung the pendulum too far in the Russ Cook department. It needs to come back. Russell Wilson threw the ball 43 times... Balanced offense matters.

The Seahawks did eventually fire OC Brian Schottenheimer and move back toward a more balanced approach under Pete Carroll's mandate.

Every quarterback with 300+ touchdown passes is a Hall of Famer

Just going to throw this out there. Everyone who has 300 touchdowns or more is in the Hall of Fame. Oh, shit... My argument has always been that numbers will be Hall of Fame worthy because everyone who has over 300 touchdown passes is in the Hall of Fame.

At the time, this was true of retired/eligible players. However, as passing stats explode, players like Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, and Ben Roethlisberger (all with 300+) will test this theory.

Yeah, I think it's fair to say the Steelers are the worst 11-0 team of all time.

So that means that they should lose this game against the Washington football team. I actually think that they should try to lose a game just so that everyone can be down on them and then they can come back and be like, fuck you, revenge tour in the playoffs.

DK Metcalf's muscles are too big and cause him to drop footballs

DK [Metcalf] dropped another touchdown catch, and we're beginning to think he might have a problem, that maybe his muscles are too big and they push the shoulder pads out. The ball hits the shoulder pads. He can't make body catches.

Metcalf has had occasional drop issues, but he remains an elite receiver; the muscle-bound theory is purely comedic.

A smart NFL team should hire Cam Newton as a specialist for two-point conversions only

What a smart team should do is they should just hire Cam Newton to be their all-time two-point conversion quarterback. Go for two guy. Go for two every single time, snap the ball directly to him, and he either runs... or he does a jump pass. Cam Newton is probably the best short yardage football player of all time.

Cam Newton was indeed used by the Panthers later in his career specifically for short-yardage/red-zone packages, though never exclusively as a two-point specialist.

The Washington Football Team's strategy is to wait for every other QB in the NFC East to get hurt

I think the Washington football team's strategy is starting to finally come to full fruition here.
