The Super Bowl champion will come from the NFC West

I said on that show that I thought the Super Bowl winner was gonna come from the NFC West. I feel good about three of them still being in it. And I still think that the NFC West is gonna be the Super Bowl champion.

The outcome is pending.

The Rams will beat the Bills in the Super Bowl

I'm going Rams, Bills Super Bowl and I'm going Matthew Stafford and the Rams win the Super Bowl. That's, that's my prediction.

The Super Bowl outcome is pending.

The Rams will exceed their win total and make the playoffs.

He [Whitworth] already said the Rams are making the playoffs this year. He still stands by it. I think they're gonna win more than seven and a half games this year.

The Rams finished 10-7 and secured a Wild Card spot, making this an excellent prediction.

LSU is a more difficult school to graduate from in four years than Harvard.

LSU, four years would be Tough. Man's a lot. I mean, you got two years of being incoherent... you're not worried about Fred's and Bogey and Tiger Land [at Harvard]... LSU [is harder].

This is a humorous, subjective take comparing social life vs. academic rigor.

The Washington Commanders will make a playoff run in the NFC.

I think Washington's gonna make a run. I like Washington making a run... I think Sam Howell's the guy is only getting better. I truly believe that.

The Commanders collapsed, losing their last 8 games to finish 4-13.

Sam Howell is the poor man's version of Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Sam Howell is a poor man's Ryan Fitzpatrick. I didn't know that. If you look at his bank account, come on baby.

This is a subjective player comparison based on their high-variance, aggressive playstyles.

Every offensive lineman's job is to be a world-class holder

If you're an offensive lineman, you gotta become a world-class holder. Yeah. That's your job. Yeah, right. We're basically really high paid bouncers. That's, that's literally all we are. You're, you're figure out how to hold people.

This is a widely acknowledged 'open secret' among NFL players and coaches regarding technical proficiency at the position.

The Detroit Lions' offensive line is one of the best in the NFL and doesn't get enough credit

The Lions group, I mean Yeah. You know, people keep talking about, you know, Jared Goff's playing his best and the weapons they have offensively... but you also just played a Jets defense that's been getting after people and they didn't touch Jared. I mean, no Sacks, you know, barely hit him at all. That group doesn't get talked about enough, in my opinion, just because of the team's record.

The 2022-2023 Lions O-line was consistently ranked in the top 5-10 by PFF and other metrics.

NFL players wake up feeling significantly better playing on grass versus turf

When I play on grass, there is a drastic difference really how I wake up the next day. Like just my body in general, like how I can work out, how I can train it. It's night and day different. ... The argument is I know that after I play a game on turf, I feel awful for three or four days. Your knees, your joints, your body, like, you just feel terrible.

This aligns with broader NFLPA sentiment and player polling regarding injury risk and recovery on artificial surfaces.

It is just an excuse for the Saints to blame the pass interference no-call for their NFC Championship loss

All I said was that it's just an excuse to blame one moment. And that's the truth. The reality is, as I've said before, if they were winning the game at the moment, or if that play would have ended the game, then that would be a valid argument. But the truth of the matter was the game was tied... You can't say that you for sure won the game based off the one play.

While the missed call was factual, the 'excuse' part is a subjective interpretation of competitive sportsmanship.

I want to play in the NFL until I am 40 years old

If I'm enjoying this game and I like the game, I'm going to keep playing the game. And if I feel good and I can play at a high level, you know what, we're going to keep riding... That's a narrative. I want to play until I'm 40.

Andrew Whitworth played until he was 40 years old, retiring in March 2022 after winning Super Bowl LVI at age 40.
