Michigan will find their shooting stroke in the tournament after a historical drop-off late in the season.

I believe that we're gonna make some shots. ... over the last 14 games or so, I think we're around 355th or 360th. So there's been a big drop off in shooting. ... But yeah, I think we're gonna make some shots. We were really close yesterday, we generated some good looks that just didn't drop. So I think we're much closer than the scores as indicates as of late.

Michigan did find some shooting in the tournament, winning three games to reach the Sweet 16 (including an upset of 4-seed Texas A&M 91-79). However, they ultimately lost to 1-seed Auburn 78-65 in the Sweet 16. The shooting improved enough for a solid tournament run but not a deep one.

Danny Wolf's basketball ceiling is just scratching the surface

[Danny Wolf] is just scratching the surface to be honest... For his long-term future, and for us, his ability to dribble the ball, make, make difficult passes. I mean, he's, he's got a special, special gift.

The player's development is ongoing.

The rumors about me becoming the next Indiana head coach are total fake news.

I'm gonna go fake news on that one. ... I'm very, very happy at Michigan. I appreciate the opportunity that these guys gave me and I'm excited about the foundation that we've laid in year one.

May signed an extension and stayed at Michigan, confirming the rumors were indeed false.

FAU's brand of basketball is a fun, unselfish 'throwback' style designed to be entertaining

We have a fun style of play to watch. From day one we've wanted to be entertaining. You need to do something other than just win... to get people into a gymnasium when it's 80 degrees and clear skies out. We're very unselfish and we're a throwback team because we have a different best player almost every single game.

Subjective assessment of a team's playing style and unselfishness.

College basketball should have one universal ball for every team to use

It seems like we should have one universal ball for college basketball for every team to use... every game we go to we have to practice a different, we have a closet full basketballs, we have to practice with a different one every week depending on where we're playing. So I would think it's time for, for all of us to come together and... have one basketball for the betterment of the game.

The rule remains unchanged, with teams still using different manufacturer balls (Nike, Spalding, Wilson) based on home team contracts.
