I enjoy defense because there's an emotion to it. You know, I joke with the offensive guys that if they f something up, it's second and 10. If we f it up, it's a touchdown... The entire league is tilted offense. All the rules are tilted offense. Every offensive coach is a guru. And so it's a good little battle.
Broad consensus among football analysts is that rule changes over the past two decades heavily favor the offense, making this correct.
