The Bengals have the best defensive line of the four remaining teams in the playoffs

I think the Bengals defensive line is the best defensive line that's remaining. Better than the Eagles and the Niners? I think so. Between DJ Reader, [Trey] Hendrickson, and then you got Sam Hubbard. That's a good room.

While the Bengals D-line was great, the Eagles unit was statistically historic with 70 sacks on the season, making this a tough subjective argument to win.

Joe Burrow is the best quarterback at 'quarterbacking' while Patrick Mahomes is just a great football player who plays quarterback

I think Joe Burrow is the best quarterback at quarterbacking in the NFL right now. [Patrick Mahomes] is a very good quarterback who happens to be a football player. Joe Burrow is a great quarterback who just happens to play football, right? Patrick Mahomes is a great football player who just happens to play quarterback.

This is a stylistic and subjective comparison of two elite players.

Brock Purdy will not be able to survive the environment at Lincoln Financial Field

Brock Purdy's top G in the NFL right now... but the man won't, won't be able to survive the Link [Lincoln Financial Field]. I just can't wrap my head around any world where a rookie quarterback goes in the Link and beats the number one seed Eagles.

Purdy was injured early in the game, and the 49ers lost 31-7, so he did not 'survive' or win the game.

The Bears and Commanders would have eventually ruined Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow if they had drafted them

Our franchises are... they will never have nice things. Like if Patrick Mahomes was drafted by the Bears, the Bears would've ruined him. If the Commanders drafted Joe Burrow, they would've ruined him. We [Commanders] actually did our best to try to ruin Joe Burrow as an NFL quarterback [by hitting him].

This is a hypothetical claim about organizational culture that can never be proven true or false.

The Ravens are using Maxx Crosby's failed physical as a convenient excuse to back out of the trade

Either one, [the Ravens] really trust the doctor to believe them on that or two, it's bullshit and it's made up and they're secretly planning a different move and they're using the physical as an excuse to get out of it.

The trade was indeed rescinded, but whether the 'physical failed' was a legitimate medical concern or a front for buyer's remorse remains a matter of speculation.

The Raiders' short statement indicates Mark Davis is furious about the rescinded trade

The statement that the Raiders put out said a lot, which is just like 'they backed out of the trade. We have no further comment.' That to me sounds like a pissed off Mark Davis.

This is an interpretation of tone and cannot be objectively proven true or false.

The NFL's two-day 'legal tampering' window is a dangerous gift for GMs with buyer's remorse

This two day period is so weird because something like this can happen and then nothing that has been reported over the last day actually has to happen. Right. Nothing's final yet.

This accurately describes the mechanics of the legal tampering period.
