Expanding the NCAA tournament too much will water it down and hurt the TV product in the second round

I worry if they expand it too much. You know, we have already, it's tough because we have Cinderella... the more you expand it, the more those kind of things happen. Which you guys all like the first day, right? But TV doesn't like it the second round. No. So it's always fun and exciting for you guys. And meanwhile I'm sitting home ready to, you know, whatever.

This is a prediction about the quality of a sports product under a new format, which is subjective.

The Browns proved they are committed to a championship by paying Myles Garrett a massive contract

I think they [the Browns] just show that they are committed to winning. Yeah. They're, the Brown's football organization is one that is, they're putting their best foot forward trying to deliver championship in Miles Garrett said, you know what? Now I believe you. Yeah, I I think that we're actually gonna gonna do it. And step number one towards committing to a championship is to pay Miles Garrett a shitload of money.

The Browns signed him to a record deal as stated in the transcript, but whether this leads to a championship is a matter of opinion.

Whoever signs the largest contract in the NFL should get seven days to wear a crown

I think there should be a new rule that if you sign the biggest contract, whether it be a, the biggest quarterback contract, the biggest non quarterback contract, you should get seven days to wear the crown. Miles Garrett should have had to wait seven days [to take it from Max Crosby].

This is a subjective proposal for a rule change.

The Cowboys and Bengals are the biggest losers of the Myles Garrett contract because it raised the price for edge rushers

The losers in all of this, I would say are the Dallas Cowboys, the Cincinnati Bengals or anyone who's trying to trade for an Edge restaurant has to pay them because the price has gone up. Yeah. Micah Parsons is now gonna take that Crown. Trey Hendrickson, Jamar Chase. Yeah. All these guys. The price just keeps going up and up and up.

Financial experts generally agree that top-of-the-market deals reset the floor for subsequent negotiations.

The majority of players in the transfer portal will end up losing out long-term

At the end of the day, the majority of kids players I think are gonna lose out. Now, there'll be a few that it works out for, but the majority... we're gonna have over 2000 in the portal. And guys are now doing it two and three and even four times. Where are they gonna have to go back to later on? ... I honestly believe that, I think a lot of players are gonna make bad decisions and not learn how to fight through sometimes.

This is a subjective long-term societal and athletic trend that cannot be definitively proven right or wrong in a single season.

Purdue has the best chance to win the title because of the motivation from losing to a 16-seed last year

I think Purdue has the best chance because of what happened to 'em last year. They've got the best rallying point and they've got a player of the year. And to deal with [Zach Edey] on a second day is hard.

Purdue made it to the National Championship game but lost to UConn, meaning they had the 'second best' chance but did not win it all.

UConn is the best overall team in the NCAA tournament right now

UConn right now, from what I've seen, is the best overall team. And it'll be a hell of a battle if it's them and Purdue and then you, you take a Houston, I mean they can beat you different ways.

UConn won the 2024 NCAA Championship, winning every game by double digits.
