Justin Herbert passes the 'eyeball test' as a professional rookie

[Justin Herbert] passed my eyeball test right off the bat... he was a Pro's Pro. He was a precocious rookie. I like the Justin Herbert that I saw in the first few games. I don't want him to lose that edge.

Herbert won Offensive Rookie of the Year and became a top-tier NFL quarterback.

Josh Norman should retire immediately after that Derrick Henry stiff arm

Josh Norman should retire like soon after that. Derrick Henry stiff arms are hilarious... he does like The Kill Bill the Five Finger Death Punch on you like Taps who with his fingertips and then your heart stops immediately and you go limp you go flying.

Norman did not retire immediately, but his career was effectively in its twilight as he only played sporadically for a few more seasons.

Titans fans are becoming some of the angriest and most vocal fans on NFL Twitter

I think we got to do like a power rankings of angriest fans on Twitter for NFL teams... I think Titan fans are slowly getting into that realm. They are ever since they got the internet in Tennessee; they're starting to get very vocal online.

This is a subjective assessment of a fanbase's online behavior.

The Chargers are just the Seahawks but they lose at the end

The Chargers are the Seahawks. They just lose at the end. They are the JV low-rent version of what the Seahawks do—they play weird games, are always in it till the end, but they are just always on the losing end of those really weird strange fourth quarters. They invent ways to lose.

The 2020 Chargers finished 7-9 with multiple one-score losses, fitting the narrative perfectly.

The 2026 World Cup final was boring and sucked.

It was boring ass soccer. It sucked. It made me thankful that the World Cup's over, that football's back. Now we can get back into real football, which I'm very, very thankful for. But that was actually, I think that was the best way to end the World Cup, because I'm totally fine with no more soccer now.

Fanatics Fest is a cynical place designed only to take money from fans.

It also seems like the most cynical place ever. Like, you can go to an autograph festival or a fan festival and you know that the guys are being paid to be there. And they're still like, happy to see, interact with you, all that shit. It just seems like every single thing about being at that place is just designed to take money from the people that are there.

Bryson DeChambeau is being targeted by selective rule enforcement.

I think that Bryson definitely did it and it's definitely against the rules. And he got caught for it and they enforced it against him because he's a bad boy. He's had some run-ins before. I don't think the R&A or whatever, I don't think they're particularly happy with Bryson right now.
