All Takes
I'm going to rewrite the Bears' history of poor quarterback play
I just know that there's never been a 4,000 yard and a 30 plus touchdown passer. [Big Cat says his job is to rewrite history] That is my job. They brought me here for reasons. If they had people like Aaron Rodgers... it wouldn't be the case. but it hasn't been the case. rewrite history. They obviously bring people in... to change history.
The difference between being cocky and confident is knowing yourself and working harder than everyone else
I think the difference [between cocky and confidence] is knowing yourself. I also think the difference is it's the people around you and how hard you work... hard work always builds confidence and hard work always pays off. It always, you know, at the end of it gives you a check mark.
Crying after a loss shows how much I care about winning and shouldn't be seen as a sign of weakness
When we win the Super Bowl, I'm hoping that we have multiple people out there crying tears of joy. So when I lose, I know how important it is that these games that we win and lose... if a tear drops, it's how much I care for winning and losing. I would much rather someone have that emotion than no emotion or laughing after the game.
I'm not worried about the stat that no quarterback with a visor has won a Super Bowl; we're just going to run the score up
[In response to the visor curse] I won't think twice about it though. We're just gonna go out there and run the score up.
Fever Tree is currently the best ginger beer on the market
I'm actually trying to create my own ginger beer with not as much sugar. I love it so much... You gotta try Fever Tree. That's the best one right now. And then when mine comes out, that will be the best one out.
I was prepared to skip the Heisman ceremony if my offensive linemen weren't allowed to attend
When I won the Heisman, I brought my entire offensive line. I demanded that they come. There was pushback... and then I said, 'I'm not going unless [they come].' And then it ended up happening.
I would press a button to win 10 Super Bowls even if it killed one Bears fan
[PFT asks if he'd press a button where one fan dies but he wins 10 Super Bowls] I think I take it. 10 Super Bowls. That's a lot of Super Bowls. That's, that's great.
