It is harder to stay at the top than to reach it in professional sports

It's always easy to have the hunger before you get it... But then when you are successful, in our case, when an NBA championship, you know, you understand what it takes to be able to stay at that level. And it's not easy... Now you're not the hunter anymore. You're the hunted.

Standard elite athlete philosophy.

The San Antonio Spurs stadium was excruciatingly and miserably hot during the 2014 'AC Game'

It was excruciatingly hot... We went back into the gym and was like, oh, oh, my God. We start playing and it was miserable. It was miserable.

Multiple players and reporters confirmed temperatures exceeded 90 degrees Fahrenheit due to the failed AC system.

LeBron James is currently entering the 'meat' of his second prime

I think we're just now getting into the meat of his second prime really if you want to call it that... to see him actually deliver with it is incredible. He had the habits and the foresight back then [to stretch twice a day].

Longevity and 'primes' are subjective, though LeBron did win a title in 2020 and continued to play at an All-NBA level for several years after.

The NBA needs to stop using instant replays because they are killing the game's flow and entertainment value

I would just love the league to stop the instant replays. That is killing the game. I have turned as a consumer of the product. I have turned the channel multiple times and I didn't come back to watch the game because there's been an instant replay... to stop the game to see and figure out if it's a flagrant one or [flagrant two] is too much.

This is a subjective opinion about the quality of the broadcast and the league's rules.

The Heat will win the NBA Finals in a dramatic finish

I think I got the Heat taking Game 4... I got the [Heat] in a dramatic finish and winner take all in the next two out of three.

The Lakers won the 2020 NBA Finals in six games, defeating the Heat 4-2.

Super teams have always been a part of the NBA

Super teams have always been a part of the league. You know, in the 80s, Showtime, the Lakers, Robert Parrish, Larry Bird, you know, Kevin McHale. I always tell people, the Lakers had Ron Harper. Ron Harper won five championships. They don't even mention Ron Harper.

While the method of formation (free agency vs. trades/draft) changed, the existence of teams with multiple Hall of Famers is a historical fact in the NBA.

I was very close to signing with the Chicago Bulls in 2010

I'm a Bulls fan. Chicago... You guys have said in retrospect that you were thinking about it... [Bosh]: It was very, very close. Yeah, man. Look, they had Joakim [Noah], young Derrick Rose, which he won MVP that year. Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich... It was very, and then their thing was two of three.

This is a historical fact claim about his own free agency process.

LeBron James is a 'good' Slytherin

[PFT Commenter]: If you were to put you, LeBron, and D-Wade into houses in Harry Potter... [Bosh]: LeBron is Slytherin. But he's the good Slytherin.

Harry Potter house sorting is purely subjective.

The Spurs intentionally turned off the AC during Game 1 of the 2014 NBA Finals

[Big Cat]: Do you think the Spurs intentionally turned off the AC in that final? [Bosh]: Absolutely. Of course. That's like Red Auerbach was known. If you're in Boston, the fire things that come off or whatever... I mean, he never denied it, right? But yeah, if I'm them, I'm trying to win.

The Spurs officially attributed it to an electrical failure. While widely speculated by fans, it has never been proven as intentional.

LeBron James cramps more than people realize because his muscles are so dense

I knew Brian [LeBron] was going to cramp, though. Yeah, because his muscles are so dense. He cramps, like, more than you think, you know, because he's so big.

Cramping is a known recurring issue for LeBron (e.g., 2012 and 2014 Finals), and Bosh's insight as a teammate is considered credible.
