Victor Wembanyama will be embarrassed by highlights at times because of his high center of gravity

He is very, very light. He's got a very high center of gravity. It's very easy to get him off balance. So he is going to get embarrassed at times. You know, there will be highlights where people will laugh at him and say, this guy can't play and then he is going to bust your ass.

Wembanyama had moments where he was posterized or pushed around, but his overall production was elite.

Jay Monahan is the biggest scumbag in the world

Jay Monahan, the biggest scumbag in the world, the biggest scumbag in the world. He invoked 9/11 if they were to accept a hundred million dollars to go play golf on the LIV tour. So he said that to his players with a straight face. He brought in 9/11 families to act as a human shield for what he was doing behind the scenes, which was negotiating with the LIV tour.

Whether someone is the 'biggest scumbag' is subjective, but the facts about his past comments vs. the merger are accurate.

LIV Golf comes out of the merger looking like the Michael Scott Paper Company

The LIV tour, by the way, they come out of this smelling like roses. They're the Michael Scott Paper Company comparably to the PGA tour. They started their own tour. Everybody laughed at 'em. Their ratings were bad. But at some point along the way, the PGA tour needed the LIV tour just as much as the LIV guys needed the PGA tour.

LIV successfully forced the PGA to the table, effectively validating their disruptive strategy.

Team golf doesn't work long-term

I still don't, I think the LIV knew that like team format doesn't work, team formats don't work in golf. It just doesn't. The way golf works is you have a bunch of guys competing against each other for the best.

While team events like the Ryder Cup are popular, a season-long team format hasn't yet proven to be a major mainstream draw.

The Thunder, Timberwolves, and Nuggets title windows will stay open through the end of the decade

Shea is like 26. Jalen Williams is the third season, Chet, this is technically his third season, but he's only played two seasons. I could see these three guys, us talking about these three guys in playoff games like this for the rest of the decade.

This prediction covers a five-year window and is testable by 2030.

The Timberwolves will likely be forced to break up their core roster next season due to the salary cap

I don't think they can keep this team together. The core, the big piece is they can, but, so Julius Randall's a free agent, Nick Alexander-Walker is a free agent, and Naz Reed is a free agent. He has an opt out, which I'm sure he is gonna take. I would be surprised if they were able to re-sign all three guys.

The Timberwolves re-signed Julius Randle (3yr/$100M) and Naz Reid (5yr/$125M), keeping their core mostly intact. However, they did lose Nickeil Alexander-Walker to the Hawks. They largely kept the core together, not fully breaking up.

LeBron James will not take a pay cut on his next contract with the Lakers

I do not think it's in the cards that he's taking less money. It's not that necessarily he wants every dime, although he does want every dime. I don't think he believes that free agency is got anybody in it where if he takes less money that the Lakers could go use their mid-level and like have a transformational player. The intention is for him to continue to make all of the max which he has earned.

LeBron James opted into his $52.6 million player option with the Lakers for the 2025-26 season, not taking a pay cut. He took the full amount.
