Oregon is a 'Team of Destiny' because of the Chris Boucher injury

Don't sleep on Oregon because remember, Oregon takes on Michigan's Team of Destiny and Oregon had the big injury to [Chris] Boucher right before this tournament started... when you lose someone, that's a big Team of Destiny situation.

Oregon did make a deep run to the Final Four, validating the 'destiny' narrative to some extent, though they didn't win the title.

Kansas is currently the best-looking team in the NCAA tournament

Purdue looked awful in the second half, but also Kansas. I mean, they are the best-looking team right now.

Kansas was the #1 seed and looked dominant, but they lost in the next round (Elite Eight) to Oregon.

Bill Self and John Calipari having their sons on their teams will provide a great Final Four storyline

One thing that we haven't talked enough shit about Bill Self is the fact that his son's on the team... So I guess we're tracking towards Bill Self's son, John Calipari's son, Final Four... That'll be wonderful. Good storyline.

Neither Kansas nor Kentucky made the Final Four in 2017. Kansas lost in the Elite Eight to Oregon, and Kentucky lost in the Elite Eight to North Carolina.

My heart can only be ripped out by Wisconsin if they blow a 20-point lead

I don't think my heart can't be ripped out unless Wisconsin gets like a 20-point lead because it's still the Sweet 16. So I think they'll either have a huge lead and blow it or they will advance and that will be the heart rip out on Sunday.

Wisconsin lost in OT to Florida, which is arguably a 'heart rip out' regardless of a 20-point lead.

College basketball has five absolutely dominant teams this year

We have five, you could even maybe go to six, just absolutely dominant teams. Michigan, UConn, Duke, Arizona, and Florida that are playing at such an insane level.

The dominance of these teams will be tested in the upcoming NCAA tournament in March 2026.

Florida can win the national championship because they can shoot threes now

Florida though, I've been talking about Florida for three weeks. They could shoot threes now. They absolutely kicked [Arkansas's]... They just throttle teams. All four of [Duke, Michigan, Arizona, Florida] would be the best team in the previous five years.

Whether Florida wins the title or performs as an elite team will be decided by the end of March Madness.

Miami of Ohio will make the tournament even if they lose in the conference tournament

I'm saying right now, winning every... If they go undefeated in the conference, that is so hard to do. I think if they go undefeated in the conference and then lose in the conference tournament, I think they will be in.

This will be resolved on Selection Sunday, March 15th, 2026.
