I'd rather be on the Super Bowl stage every year, even if I lose

Playing in the Super Bowl is as fun as it gets. And so I'd rather be on that stage every motherfucking year. And to be put yourself out there to do it and like I very much look forward to proving that moment to go win it.

This is a personal professional philosophy.

The Big 10 Women's Basketball tournament will be better than the Men's tournament

The Big 10 tournament for the women's college basketball is gonna be better than the Big 10 men's tournament. I'll just say that right now.

While subjective, the 2024 Big 10 Women's tournament (won by Iowa) drew record ratings and significantly more national buzz than the men's tournament.

No one will ever hit 40,000 career points in the NBA again

The craziest thing about Lebron 40,000 points is I don't, I don't think anyone's gonna hit it. Like I don't, even though the scoring is crazy in the NBA right now, I was looking at it and Luca has 10,000 points in six years, but to say Luca can play to be 40 years old with his body, no offense to his body would be a jump.

This will take decades to resolve, but currently, no active player is on a realistic pace to match LeBron's longevity.

LeBron James is the second-best basketball player of all time

I also feel like we've done at least an okay job respecting the fact that he is an insane, insane basketball talent who is, you know, people will say he is the best of all time. I have him too. Which is, and I think the gap between two and three is huge.

GOAT rankings are inherently subjective.

True confidence only comes after putting in the work, which then allows you to say 'I wish a motherfucker would' on game day.

Preparation [is where] confidence comes from. Like long practices, putting extra training in your conditioning. 'Cause then it's like, I wish a motherfucker would right now. You know, like I am ready. And so you have to go through those tough training readiness to have like a mindset that's gritty.

Subjective coaching philosophy and motivational theory.

We will remain bold on fourth down regardless of game situation or defensive improvements.

We'll be bold still. Like that's who we are. That's how we get down. And you know, kind of referencing, you know, Jayden and Cliff and situations... We're confident with the people that we have that if that's how we want to get down, then like we're ready to do that... There's a boldness with it, but it, you do have to grow in it.

Dan Quinn stated the Commanders would remain bold on 4th down. The Commanders went 5-12 and Daniels was hurt, making it hard to evaluate this coaching philosophy claim across the full season.

I prefer Drake Maye's 'toughness' and 'swag' over Caleb Williams

[Between Drake Maye and Caleb Williams] I would say Drake. He just had a little more swag, looked a little tougher. And so like, I've kind of been drawn to more toughness. ... Maybe you guys like khakis, I don't know, that's not my thing.

Washington eventually drafted Jayden Daniels at #2, not Drake Maye, though they did pass on Caleb Williams (who went #1).
