I would still bet on the Eagles to win the NFC East despite how bad they look

I still would probably take [the Eagles] to win the division, because they have a home game against the Cowboys, and they play the Redskins and they play the Giants. But if you had to ask me right now to put money on it, I think I'd still take the Eagles as bad as they've looked.

The Eagles won out, including beating the Cowboys, and finished 9-7 to win the NFC East.

The Giants have to play Eli Manning again to let him get back to a .500 record

Now what sucks is now Eli's 116 and 117. You've got to play him again, though. You have to play him again. You've got to give him a shot to get back to 117, 117.

Eli Manning did play one more game after this (against the Dolphins) and won, finishing his career exactly at 117-117.

I support division winners hosting playoff games even with bad records because the unfairness provides entertainment

I like the fact that the Eagles could win the division at 7-9 and host a playoff game simply because we get to sit here and say, that's not fair. I like that it makes no sense. I like that if you win your division, you get a home playoff game, even if you're a terrible team. It just seems like one of those rules I don't want changed.

This is an opinion on a league rule, so it is subjective. The rule remains in place.

I can see the 2019 Eagles flipping a switch and going on a Super Bowl run despite how bad they look

I'm falling into the trap of what they've done the last two years. I agree with you. But I could see [the Eagles] just going on a run right now. [The Super Bowl Eagles] are eventually going to – everything's going to click, and they're going to flip the switch, and they're going to be great again.

The Eagles did win the division and make the playoffs at 9-7, but they lost in the Wild Card round to the Seahawks and did not go on a Super Bowl run.

The 2026 Thanksgiving Day schedule is the best single day of football ever

Wednesday night is the Packers versus the Rams. Then Thursday, Thanksgiving day is Bears, lions, Eagles, Cowboys, chiefs bills. That will be great. Like the day of Thanksgiving? Yeah. That's the best day of football I think maybe ever.

Whether it's the 'best day ever' is a matter of personal opinion and game quality.

The Colorado Avalanche will win the Stanley Cup

Congratulations to the Colorado Avalanche on winning the Stanley Cup. I'd like to say congratulations to the [Avs]. Pretty good bet to the [Avs]. Pretty good it's a pretty good bet if you, if you're a betting man, which I am. Congrats to the [Avs].

The Avalanche were eliminated in the second round by the Stars in 2026.

Pittsburgh fleeced Boston in the gorilla trade

I think Boston got fleeced. Frankie got traded, 7-year-old. Frankie got traded to the Boston Zoo. He's going to just be chilling with a bunch of other dudes. Little Joe got traded to Pittsburgh because he's going to be mating and making new gorilla. Pittsburgh's the one that's gonna be making more gorillas. You guys are do everything all wrong. They're, they're making a gorilla factory in Pittsburgh.

Evaluating zoo conservation efforts through the lens of a sports trade is inherently comedic and subjective.
