If the Seahawks win the Super Bowl, the 2018 draft becomes the Sam Darnold draft instead of the Josh Allen/Lamar Jackson draft

[PFT]: If the Seahawks win, does that become the Sam Darnold draft? [Big Cat]: I think it might be. I think it would have to become the Sam Darnold draft. I think it might be. Yeah, it might be right.

The Seahawks did not win Super Bowl 60, so this hypothetical scenario did not occur.

PFT Commenter bet $40,000 on the Patriots money line to win Super Bowl 60

Hank, I did submit the $40,000 bet on the Patriots money line. It's in the DraftKings sportsbook. I put that in. We're good to go. At the very least, you can sleep comfortably knowing that if the Patriots lose, I will have lost $40,000 out of my own pocket.

PFT submitted the $40K bet. Patriots lost Super Bowl LX 13-29. The bet lost.

Hank says he's more confident than ever that the Patriots will win the Super Bowl

I'm excited. I feel more confident than ever. Better than ever. Did I stutter?

PFT Commenter is concerned about Drake May's shoulder injury heading into the Super Bowl

That's my concern with a run first quarterback like that. Especially taking shots on your right shoulder, because that's the only position that a guy can't play if he's got a sore right shoulder. He took a shot, got tackled, and then he got up shaking his shoulder out, and then the very next throw he kind of short armed it, went down to the right. And now he's popped up on the injury report.

PFT's concern was justified. Maye received a painkilling injection before the SB and his performance suffered (overthrown passes, 3 turnovers).

The goal allowed by the US goalie was the most embarrassing possible

What about the goalie? Yeah, I mean he... that was the most embarrassing goal that I've ever seen. Possible.

While subjective, the blunder by the US goalkeeper (Freeze/Turner) was widely mocked as a 'MAC football' level mistake.

The USMNT is the 'James Franklin Penn State' of soccer

People were making very mean jokes online that we were James Franklin, Penn State. And it is actually perfectly appropriate because if you look at who we played, we beat the teams we're supposed to beat... and then we absolutely got ass fucked by the team that was better than us in Belgium. We are not who we thought we were.

Subjective comparison.

We just suck at soccer as a country and that's okay

My take is we suck at soccer and that's okay. Like, I don't care that we suck at soccer anymore. I'm going to root for the US team. I'm gonna get excited when we're in a World Cup. I'm gonna get hyped up and it's gonna be fun to watch. And then I'm gonna be reminded that we suck at soccer and that it's just gonna be like, okay, yeah, that's okay.

Subjective perspective on American soccer.
