Joel Embiid is the most dominant player in the NBA right now.

Embiid is, you could make the argument, is the most dominant player right now in the NBA... Joel Embiid, when healthy, is the most dominant player in the NBA.

While subjective, Embiid won the MVP in 2023 and has been an All-NBA First Team mainstay.

The NBA's current play-in tournament structure for the 7th and 8th seeds is stupid.

I just hate that they — like, they had something good. Eight versus nine is good... When you add the 10th seed, it's stupid. And the fact that the 7th seed could potentially not make the playoffs is even dumber. I just hate the whole thing.

This is a subjective opinion on league structure.

The Wizards could beat the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

I think that if the Wizards beat the Celtics, if they end up matching up against the Nets, I think that the Wizards could actually beat the Nets in the first round.

The Wizards lost to the 76ers in five games in the first round. They did not face the Nets.

I would love to see a 'Subway Series' between the Knicks and the Nets in the Eastern Conference Finals.

I would love to see, ooh, a Subway Series, Knicks-Nets, Eastern Conference Finals.

This did not happen. The Nets lost in the Second Round and the Knicks lost in the First Round.

Ohio State moved senior night because it is scared of Michigan

If you're saying, 'Hey, we can't do it for the Michigan game because it's something that's just totally different and separate unto itself,' do it the last home game before that, which would be Northwestern. But that senior night though should be—you'd basically just be saying, 'I'm scared of doing it against Michigan.'

This is an interpretation of Ohio State's motivation and cannot be definitively verified.

Michigan is closer to 7-5 than a playoff team

If Bryce Underwood doesn't take a massive step forward, this is closer to a seven-five team than a playoff team.

Michigan's 2026 season outcome has not been established at the time of this episode.

Wisconsin has to win eight games

He's gotta win eight. I think he would tell you he's gotta win eight. Because if you win seven, that means you probably lost to Penn State, Iowa, USC and UCLA or Minnesota, and it's like some of those are not okay.

Wisconsin's 2026 final record has not yet been determined.
