Urban Meyer will survive the Ohio State scandal because big-time programs protect winners

I actually think that [Urban Meyer] is going to survive it because that's how big-time football works. This guy wins a lot of football games, so we got to figure out a way to keep him. I think he'll still survive it. I think he'll get a four-game suspension right before Big Ten season.

Urban Meyer was suspended for three games by Ohio State but was not fired, though he did retire at the end of the season.

Chase Daniel has played in the NFL for 10 fucking seasons. He has made $24 million in cash earnings. We need to bring people to realize, hey, Chase Daniel has robbed the NFL for 10 straight years. He is one and one all time. So he's played two games in 10 years. That might be the greatest snake it till you make it fact of all time.

Chase Daniel played 14 seasons in the NFL, earning over $40 million despite only starting 5 games. Big Cat's point about his earnings vs. usage is objectively true.

Lamar Jackson is currently on the roster bubble as a wide receiver

My concern isn't that Lamar Jackson's the fourth string quarterback, it's that he's like the 10th or 11th string wide receiver on that team. He needs... he's on the bubble.

Lamar Jackson obviously became an MVP quarterback and never played wide receiver.

Urban Meyer will eventually coach at Notre Dame

I think he's going to resurface in a few years at Notre Dame. If there's any organization that has a history of overlooking some of their leaders' past discrepancies, it's the Catholic Church. So I could see him joining up with Touchdown Jesus.

Urban Meyer never coached at Notre Dame; he eventually went to the Jacksonville Jaguars and then retired from coaching.

The Brewers' pressure created their 'lucky' breaks

That's not luck. That's just the Brewers and what they did to you mentally, where it's like you have to be perfect and almost made teams just become a worse version of themselves because of what the Brewers were doing to them.

This is an evaluative baseball argument rather than a claim with one definitive result.

The Bears are building around Jeffrey Simmons correctly

Jeffrey Simmons is an absolute game wrecker. Top three at his position, changes everyone around him. The Bears had a weakness in their defense, especially run defense. They made it a strength.

The assessment of Simmons' impact and positional ranking is partly subjective and will depend on his Chicago performance.
