Rick Pitino is going to stay at Iona for the long haul

I think that there's a good chance that Rick Pitino gets offered the Kentucky job, and he will turn it down. I think he's going to be in Iona for the long haul.

Pitino left Iona in 2023 for St. John's, proving he was not there for the long haul.

Bill Walton incepted the Pac-12 teams into becoming the 'Conference of Champions'

He's [Bill Walton] incepted us into thinking that the Pac-12 is actually the Conference of Champions, and now he's incepted the teams themselves into believing in themselves so much that they are now advancing to potentially become the Conference of Champions.

While psychological impact is subjective, the Pac-12 did perform exceptionally well in 2021.

The Pac-12 is officially back now that Larry Scott is gone

No, Larry Scott was the reason why, and he's gone, so the Pac-12 is officially back. Pac-12 is back big time.

The Pac-12 had a historic 2021 tournament with four teams in the Sweet 16 and three in the Elite Eight shortly after Scott's exit was announced.

Alabama can shoot their way to a college basketball national championship

They're a spider monkey. They could shoot their way to a championship.

Alabama lost to UCLA in the Sweet 16 and did not win the championship.

The 2026 World Cup final was boring and sucked.

It was boring ass soccer. It sucked. It made me thankful that the World Cup's over, that football's back. Now we can get back into real football, which I'm very, very thankful for. But that was actually, I think that was the best way to end the World Cup, because I'm totally fine with no more soccer now.

Fanatics Fest is a cynical place designed only to take money from fans.

It also seems like the most cynical place ever. Like, you can go to an autograph festival or a fan festival and you know that the guys are being paid to be there. And they're still like, happy to see, interact with you, all that shit. It just seems like every single thing about being at that place is just designed to take money from the people that are there.

Bryson DeChambeau is being targeted by selective rule enforcement.

I think that Bryson definitely did it and it's definitely against the rules. And he got caught for it and they enforced it against him because he's a bad boy. He's had some run-ins before. I don't think the R&A or whatever, I don't think they're particularly happy with Bryson right now.
