The Oilers will win the Stanley Cup based on the historical pattern of rematches

Oilers Islanders. Gretzky lost the first time and then won second year. Crosby loses the first time to the Red Wings, second time comes back and wins. Now McDavid loses to the Panthers the first time. Second time I think I like the Oilers boys. I think it's coming home.

The 2024 Stanley Cup was won by the Florida Panthers, defeating the Edmonton Oilers in seven games.

Tyrese Haliburton needs to be more consistent to take the next step as a superstar

This is kind of the knock on [Haliburton] is that he has nights like Tuesday, which are out of this world good... and then you have nights like tonight where he doesn't really, like, can't really tell that he is out there. I think to take that next step, you can't have nights like tonight.

The Carolina Panthers are destined for the 2025 Super Bowl because of the Ohio State/J-Lo divorce prophecy

2024 Ohio State wins the National championship. The Panthers have a losing record. Next year, 2025, the Panthers open up with the Jacksonville Jaguars... Jennifer Lopez files for divorce from Ben Affleck. It seems like the Carolina Panthers gonna be the Super Bowl.

PFT Commenter predicted the Panthers would be in the 2025 Super Bowl based on a J-Lo/Ohio State prophecy. The Panthers did not make the Super Bowl; the Seahawks beat the Patriots in Super Bowl LX following the 2025 season. The Panthers lost in the Wild Card round to the Rams.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are significantly better than the Minnesota Timberwolves

The Oklahoma City Thunder are in the NBA finals. Absolutely curb stomped the Timberwolves in Game five completely. Like that series wasn't really competitive... the Thunder are significantly better than the Timberwolves.

The Thunder did defeat the Timberwolves in the 2024 Western Conference playoffs.

The Knicks will probably win the series in five games or even sweep the Cavs

I still think that the, the Knicks are probably gonna win in five. They could even pull off the sweep. I guess the only real question we have for you, 'cause we already, we declared that the New York Knicks have won the series after game one. Correct.

The series is currently ongoing with the Knicks leading 2-0.

The NBA should rebrand the 'granny shot' as the 'pimp grip' to encourage players to use it

Nobody, no player in the NBA wants to shoot a free throw granny style. But if it's pimp grip, that sounds pretty fucking cool. Listen, if it goes in, it doesn't matter. Like if he and he would, he actually probably get some endorsements from it.

I want the Thunder to win so we can love Victor Wembanyama longer before the inevitable hate cycle starts

I know who I want to win. I want the Thunder to win this series. And the reason why I want the thunder to win this series is because I think if the thunder win, we get to restart the clock on how much longer we get to love Weby before we hate 'em. If the Spurs win this series and then they win their first championship and Weby dominates, we're gonna eventually hate Weby.

The outcome of the series is pending, and the 'hate cycle' is a subjective sociological prediction.
