This Lakers championship in the bubble counts as a ring and a half because it's the hardest ring to win

At this point if the Heat win two games it's going to be way, way worse... I've already seen the people being like this is actually the hardest ring to win. [PFT]: It's a ring and a half for LeBron this counts.

This is entirely a subjective matter of debate regarding the difficulty of the 2020 NBA Bubble.

I won't apologize for their 3-1 record, but I know in my heart that the Bears stink

I'm not going to apologize for three-in-one but I know in my heart of hearts of the Bears fucking stink. Okay. Are you happy? ... the Bears are just so predictable. Sometimes.

The 2020 Bears finished 8-8 and were non-competitive in their playoff loss, confirming they were a mediocre team that inflated their record early.

The Browns have finally found a distinct identity that works: run the ball and move the pocket for Baker Mayfield

They have a distinct identity that works for some reason... if you run the ball with the Browns and you have Baker [Mayfield] move the pocket and not have to throw 50 times a game, you're going to be a good football team.

The 2020 Browns finished 11-5 and won a playoff game using exactly this formula (led by Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt).

The Cowboys are currently wasting one of the greatest championship windows by building a fantasy football team with no defense

I'm starting to think that like this will go down as one of the worst uses of like a championship window a team has ever had... Jerry Jones essentially in the last few years has said I want to pay my quarterback, pay my running back, pay my wide receiver, get another wide receiver. He's building a fantasy football team and then nothing on the defense and hope it works out.

The 2020 Cowboys finished 6-10 and missed the playoffs, largely due to a historically bad defense in the first half of the season and Dak's injury.

Nate Oats needs to teach his players to never let the police look through their phones

Let the Aden Holloway situation be a reminder to everybody that you don't have to let the police look through your phone. I actually point the finger at Nate Oats for this, because Nate Oats, you gotta do a better job of explaining the first through fifth amendments to your players. Given the history that you've had... day one you should have a, get the guys from Morgan & Morgan to come in and be like, 'Do not talk to the police if you're in trouble. Shut the fuck up.'

This is a satirical advice piece and commentary on Nate Oats' coaching responsibilities.

Mark Pope is on the hot seat at Kentucky after this tournament performance

Mark Pope on the hot seat. I think he is. I mean, I think they're gonna bring him back. I think he's safe for this year, but I think he's going into next year. Seat is warm.

Pending — Mark Pope's job status at Kentucky after the 2025-26 season is not yet resolved.

Every major college coaching opening should start by calling Brad Stevens and making him say no

You gotta make him say no. You gotta call Brad Stevens and make him say no. I will personally never stop saying that. He probably wakes up every morning and says no. Voicemail just says, 'Thank you so much for the consideration, but it's gonna be a no.' It would be shocking if he ever took another college job.

This is an opinion on coaching search strategy.
