The Rams are a top Super Bowl contender because their QB/WR connection is 'stupid'

Teams that I truly believe can win at number one Rams... there's no quarterback wide receiver group right now that sees it the same way consistently. The throws and the catches are stupid right now.

The Rams were top contenders (12-5, NFCCG) with Stafford winning MVP. But they lost in the NFCCG to Seattle.

Caleb Williams has absolutely stopped creating problems for himself

What do you have to see from Caleb to feel good going into 2026 and beyond? I would tell you number one, stop creating problems for yourself. He's absolutely done that now... He's more in structure, he's playing more in rhythm and timing.

Technical football opinion from an expert, can be evaluated against Williams' performance stats through the end of 2025.

Running the football in shotgun formation all the time stinks

I line up under center, every play is available to me... every direction is available to me. There's very little tendency or tell... when I'm in the shotgun, there's a smaller option of what I can do... When I'm under center, I turn my back to you in a play action fake. You cannot see the ball and the gun. You can all the time.

This is a tactical philosophy held by many NFL analysts and coaches.

The Chiefs are more 'dead' for the future than the Cowboys

I think it's the Chiefs. I think it's the Chiefs for the now and for like the immediate future... They're $32 million over the cap for next year. How do you rebuild the offensive line... The defense has fallen off the face of the earth... I just think like this is a, a little bit, I don't know if it's just a snap my fingers and all of a sudden we're back... where it's like, if you're Dallas offensive line's really good and cheap, the the receivers are ridiculous.

The Chiefs went 6-11 with Mahomes' ACL tear, $32M over the cap. They are in worse shape than the Cowboys for the immediate future.

Denver over Buffalo is the most likely Wild Card upset

I really do think it's Buffalo Denver because one, I think it's the game that most makes me feel like a real upset could actually happen... I think Denver's got a guy that could be the defensive player of the year in Surtain... it would be a massive upset, but I, I honestly don't think I, I would be surprised.

The Bills won comfortably 38-17, so the upset did not happen.

Kyle Hamilton saved the Ravens' season

Kyle Hamilton saved their season... What they did was they say, okay, the worst part of our defense is the secondary, let's take our best player and move him back there... he communicates at such a high level, he gets everybody in the right positions.

The Ravens defense improved drastically in the second half of the season following tactical changes involving Hamilton.

Jaden Daniels will have an 80% completion rate against Tampa Bay

I'm gonna take Washington. I think Jaden Daniels sniffs 80% completion in that game. I just don't think Tampa Bay's defense is good enough on the perimeter. Hold up with them.

Daniels completed roughly 65% of his passes in the playoff game, falling well short of 80%.

The Chiefs will beat the Lions in the Super Bowl

I'm gonna pick Kansas City and Detroit in the Super Bowl. And I'm gonna say Kansas City does it... I'm afraid of not picking Mahomes... 15 finds a way, man.

The Super Bowl was Eagles vs. Chiefs (not Chiefs vs. Lions), and the Chiefs lost 22-40. The Lions lost in the Divisional Round.

Jalen Hurts and Dak Prescott are not currently top 10 quarterbacks in the NFL

I'd probably say Jordan Love [at 8], Nine Tua, 10 Rogers... I would put like the Trevor Lawrences, Hertzes, Daks, Her Cousins, Herberts, those guys are writing that like kind of next group.

This is a subjective ranking of player ability at a specific point in time.

The Steelers should start Justin Fields because Russell Wilson doesn't give them a chance to contend

Are you with Russ playing fine at 35 or 36 really going to contend against Cincinnati and Baltimore in the division? Really? No. Like, so my thing was if it really was a little bit of a competition... why not just say, you know what, the only real chance we have is if we strike Lightning at a bottle with Justin.

Wilson eventually started and performed well, leading the Steelers to the playoffs and the AFC North title, suggesting Orlovsky's 'no chance' claim was incorrect.

The Atlanta Falcons will win the NFC South

I'm super high in Atlanta, dude. Oh, like I really am man. I think they're gonna be so good... That team not no question can win their division. And certainly just if Zach Robinson is their play caller... I think they're gonna be really, really, really good.

The Falcons won the NFC South title in the 2024 season.

The Rams will have the best offensive line in the NFL this season

I expect the Rams to be really good. I think the Rams should have the best offensive line in football. The interior of their offensive line is freakishly big and dominant.

The Rams suffered catastrophic injuries to their offensive line early in the season, preventing the unit from reaching its projected potential.

The Kansas City Chiefs are better this year than they were last year

They're better this year than they were last year and that's with all due respect to L'Jarius Sneed. L'Jarius is great. But... their offense is gonna be significantly better specifically just like speed and catching the football.

The Chiefs finished the regular season with the best record in the AFC (14-3) and a much-improved offense compared to the previous year.

The Patriots should sit Drake Maye and follow the Jordan Love developmental model

I wouldn't play [Drake Maye] this year. I think New England's offensive line... they don't have a plus offensive line or plus skill player. So I wanna play him, but not in meaningful games. Maybe at the end of November or December.

The Patriots abandoned this plan and started Maye in Week 6 (October), contradicting Orlovsky's advice.

The Chiefs will beat the Lions in the Super Bowl and achieve the first three-peat

I'll say Kansas City and Detroit [in the Super Bowl]. What happens in the Super Bowl? Kansas City wins. Ugh. Brutal. Which is somehow some incredible, somehow some way. Patrick, you know, has the ball last type of thing.

The Super Bowl was Eagles vs. Chiefs, not Chiefs vs. Lions. The Lions lost in the Divisional Round to the Commanders. And the Chiefs lost the Super Bowl 22-40 to the Eagles.

Matthew Stafford is throwing the ball as well as he ever has in his career

Stafford is throwing the absolute piss out of the football. It's, I mean, he's throwing it just as good as maybe he's ever thrown it.

Stafford finished the 2023 season with a Pro Bowl nod and led the Rams to the playoffs, statistically supporting Orlovsky's eye test.

Desmond Ridder is playing much better than the public perception suggests

I do think Desmond Ridder has been better than what people think. Oh, he's been better, dude... 90% of the time this kid's played pretty good football and then there's 10% that they gotta figure out can they get rid of it or whatnot.

Ridder was eventually benched for Taylor Heinicke later in the season and traded to Arizona in the offseason, suggesting the Falcons did not share Orlovsky's optimism.

The Steelers offense has a complete lack of creativity and relies entirely on George Pickens

Kenny Pickett in Pittsburgh... if they didn't throw the ball to George Pickens, they'd have nothing. All they're doing is throwing back shoulder fades to George Pickens. So there's such a lack of creativity in Pittsburgh. There's definitely a disservice.

The Steelers eventually fired OC Matt Canada mid-season due to these exact issues, validating Orlovsky's assessment of the scheme.

It is hard to see Justin Fields remaining as the Bears quarterback in 2024

I think like, there's a lot of growth in the last month... The unique situation with Green or Chicago right now is this, it's hard to see how Justin Fields is their quarterback in 2024. And I'm a Justin Fields guy.

Correct. Fields was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in March 2024.

Jared Goff and Kirk Cousins are both top 5 'Mid' quarterbacks in the league

Number one, Dak Prescott for sure. Jared Goff... Kirk Cousins for sure. Baker Mayfield. And Geno Smith. This would be my top five guys that are like, again, I think that those guys could play as high as like a top seven, top eight, top nine quarterback. Or if, you know, my tackle's out and my number one receiver's not there, I might play as a top 12 or top 13 dude.

Highly subjective ranking of QB tiers.

Dak Prescott is the most 'Mid' quarterback in the NFL

Number one, Dak Prescott for sure... I think that those guys could play as high as like a top seven, top eight, top nine quarterback. Or if, you know, my tackle's out and my number one receiver's not there, I might play as a top 12 or top 13 dude.

Prescott went on to finish 2nd in MVP voting in 2023, which contradicts the 'mid' label for that specific season, though the debate about his ceiling remains subjective.

Colony Grill in Fairfield, CT is the best pizza in the world

Number one pizza is Colony Grill. Yes. No questions asked in Fairfield though. It's gotta be the one in Fairfield.

Pizza preference is subjective.
