Odell Beckham Jr. is not getting traded

Odell was not getting traded the bike... I don't want to tell anybody that without being a hundred percent right? Because that's the worst thing you could ever do to anybody.

Odell Beckham Jr. remained with the Browns through the 2020 season.

Rob Gronkowski is not close to being in game shape or returning to the NFL

I don't think he act look when we were training at Unbreakable... he's waste are than he ever has been right? So we're even talking about what it would take for him to come back and he was never like hi. I need a new approach new program... he's not even close to how it was betrayed.

Gronkowski came out of retirement and was traded to the Buccaneers on April 21, 2020, just four days after this episode.

The Patriots will not trade Rob Gronkowski to the Buccaneers just to help Tom Brady

Also I don't see him going the bucks... the Patriots cologne is right? So why were they just be like, oh, yeah sure. They would trade them because they could get something for him no what I don't see that... I couldn't do that.

The Patriots did exactly this, trading Gronkowski and a 7th-round pick to the Buccaneers for a 4th-round pick on April 21, 2020.

Tom Brady should be signed by the Patriots for $30-31 million

I think you want to be paid content up there 30 31 and it's right. I know I think it's about time. You don't want money pays for what? He's already done though, and guys that's putting but I don't think for the next three years two years at least you still got a top-10 quarterback by it's the one guy who doesn't operate like that Belichick is the one coach... but he's you should absolutely sign them to that.

The Patriots did not sign him. Brady signed with Tampa Bay for $25M per year with incentives, less than the $30M Glazer suggested.

There is a 50% chance Tom Brady stays with the Patriots

I am 50 percent chance he stayed... I don't know yet... I don't know yet. Just throw it out. No, I'm not gonna do that.

Brady announced he was leaving the Patriots on March 17, 2020, the day after this aired.

Dak Prescott will not hit free agency

Do you think Jack's [Dak's] gonna hit free agency? No, come on. You're okay. No, no chance.

The Cowboys applied the franchise tag to Dak Prescott on March 16, 2020, keeping him from free agency.

David Blaine is the alpha in a room full of action stars

The alpha where yes... David Blaine obviously David Blaine is the alpha... it helped the Cheetos [Pacino] going. I gotta go to my therapist... This was like the most surreal shit I've ever done in my life.

This is a subjective observation of social dynamics.

The Giants don't operate with urgency; Gettleman isn't on the hot seat despite the Daniel Jones pick

No, because the Giants don't operate that way. Giants have more patience in the GM than any team... GMs. Their GM has always made the picks.

Gettleman remained the Giants GM through the 2021 season, proving the Giants were indeed patient.

The Giants are bad at collecting accurate intel on other teams' draft boards

The Daniel Jones thing, look, I think the Giants don't do a good job of finding out accurate information that other teams can do... When he [Gettleman] talked about the Redskins and the Broncos, that's not true... I think they could have waited past six [to draft Daniel Jones].

While Gettleman insisted Jones wouldn't last, reports from the Redskins and Broncos front offices later suggested they were not considering Jones at those spots.

None of the 2019 quarterback prospects except Kyler Murray would have been first-rounders in the 2018 draft

And if you put... Any of those guys in last year's draft, I don't think any of them except Kyler would have been a first-round pick.

This is a comparison of draft grades across years; while subjective, it aligned with many scouting consensus views at the time.

Baker Mayfield is a 'gangster' who will control the Browns' big personalities

Baker Mayfield is a gangster. He's not going to handle people trying to, me, me, me, I want the ball. He's going to put it where it needs to go, and he's going to control that locker room. Baker's different, man. He's special.

While Mayfield had leadership traits, the Browns went 6-10 in 2019 and the locker room dynamic was frequently described as dysfunctional.

Rob Gronkowski might return to the NFL in November once the 'training wheels' of retirement come off

I think Gronk, once the training wheels come off, at one point I could see him go, you know what? We're close. I need three games. Like November. Why not?

Gronk did not return in 2019; he returned for the 2020 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The NFL should fire all current referees and replace them with Special Ops combat veterans

The nfl to fix its refereeing problem they should just fire all the refs and hire nothing but special ops... Special ops. And teach them how to officiate football games. Is that the reaction time for special ops guys are going to be better than these guys... You put them there together as a team... Plus, they got, you know, bullets are flying. These guys react better.

The NFL has not replaced its officiating corps with Special Ops veterans.

I possess the only existing copy of the Spygate video

The biggest story I ever had was the Spygate video... They destroyed what they thought was everything, and then I have the one remaining one. We aired it on Fox. It was my second week in studio at Fox... I have the only copy in existence.

Glazer did famously air footage of the Spygate incident on Fox Sports in 2007, and it is widely accepted that the NFL destroyed their internal copies, making his copy uniquely public.

Modern NFL players don't work as hard as the Drew Brees and Tom Brady generation

The way guys come into this league now, they don't work. They don't understand what hard work is the way guys like that [Brees and Brady] did. So it's getting easier for them.

This is an common but ultimately subjective complaint from veteran analysts across generations.

The 2017 Rams are a legitimate threat and sleeper pick

The team that I've been hot on, even before this happened, before the season again, was the Rams. I said before the season, I think there'll be at least a 500 team with Sean McVay in there and Wade Phillips.

The 2017 Rams finished 11-5, won the division, and Sean McVay won Coach of the Year. Glazer was very right.

The Giants failed by buying 'shiny toys' and ignoring their offensive line

The disappointment has got to be the Giants... It's when you go out and you get yourself nice, shiny toys, but you don't really make sure your carburetor's working... They went out and they got Ingram and Marshall, but they didn't do anything to upgrade their offensive line.

The 2017 Giants offensive line was widely ranked as one of the worst in the league, leading to a 3-13 season.

Sean McVay has the same rare 'command of the room' as an early Mike Tomlin

Sean McVay has that as well. He is like, he has a rare ability to command the room, get a player's face, but not have the player look at him like, man, who are you? ... It's a kind of a rare thing, kind of like an early Mike Tomlin.

McVay has since become one of the most successful coaches in the NFL, winning a Super Bowl and consistently commanding respect, validating this character assessment.

Real life in the NFL is way more wild than the show 'Ballers'

Oh, no. Are you kidding me? Real life is way worse than that. In fact, half the stuff you know went down in the NFL. If I went to the producers of Ballers and said, hey, man, I got a great storyline for you. If this actually happened, they'd say, Glaze, are you out of your damn mind? Nobody would ever believe that.

This is an insider's professional opinion on the culture of the NFL compared to media portrayals.

That is the strongest, most violent individual who's ever put his hands on me in my entire life. And that includes the Chuck Liddells and the Dan Andersons and the Randy Coutures. I mean, it's not even close, dude.

Former NFL linebacker James Anderson could clean out the UFC heavyweight division

James Anderson... I've been actually trying to convince to fight. ... This dude could fight. He really could. He is so athletic and violent, and he understands it. And he's not a big name, but he would clean out the heavyweight division.

Anderson never fought professionally in the UFC, so his dominance is theoretical.

The Spygate tape contains footage of the cameraman creeping on cheerleaders

The starter tape is great because the guy is focusing in on women in the stands. ... Total creeper. He's focusing on, like, women in the stands, and he's focusing it on the Jet cheerleaders. And he's a totally creeper. And then all of a sudden, boom, goes to Jets coaches.

While the existence of Spygate tapes is a fact, the specific detail about 'creeper' footage remains Glazer's first-hand account as he claims to be the only one with a copy.
