Jeff Fisher only gets fired if the Rams have a real collapse this season

I would say it would take... This year, it would take a real collapse. What the hell does that mean? You know, it would have to be like... We no longer have faith in this person... to direct this team toward winning.

Jeff Fisher was fired on December 12, 2016, after the Rams suffered a 42-14 loss to the Falcons, which finalized their 'collapse'.

Owners of sports teams have a 66% election success rate in the new millennium

66% of the time in the new millennium, we've elected owners of sports teams. People forget that George Bush owned part of the Texas Rangers.

George W. Bush and Donald Trump both had sports ownership ties (Rangers and NJ Generals/USFL) and were the winners in 3 of the 5 elections since 2000 (Bush '00, '04, Trump '16).

Hillary Clinton is the Dan Marino of politics because she lacks the clutch gene

I think we need to start talking to Hillary Clinton in the light of does she have the clutch gene because she's big time loser she's taken a couple big l's on a national stage recently yeah um does she lack it she's the Dan Marino of politics that's a great great analogy

This is a subjective comparison of a politician to a Hall of Fame quarterback based on perceived high-stakes failures.

Kanye West has a real shot to win the presidency in 2020

I think Donald Trump winning 2016, Kanye has a shot in 2020. I mean, people like him a lot more than they like Donald Trump and Donald Trump won the landslide.

Kanye West did run for president in 2020, though he did not have a 'shot' in terms of viable polling or electoral college impact.

Jeff Fisher has zero percent chance of getting another NFL head coaching job

[Jeff Fisher?] Nope. No chance. [Zero?] Zero.

Fisher never coached in the NFL again after his firing in 2016, though he later coached in the USFL.

The Bengals, not the Browns, are likely to blame for the botched AJ McCarron trade paperwork

I don't think [the Browns] screwed this up, interestingly enough... I think I am a little bit on Team Cleveland. So what I heard was that one of the sides, I think it was the Bengals, sent in the signatures, sent in the paper, the trade slip, before both signatures were on it, and neither side realized until it was too late.

The league rejected the trade because the Browns didn't notify them until after the deadline, though the exact internal clerical failure remains a point of dispute between the two teams.

Bill Belichick spearheaded the Jimmy Garoppolo trade and wasn't forced into it by Robert Kraft

What I was told was that this is definitely Belichick running the show here... this was a trade that Belichick took on himself... I think it is really Belichick kind of spearheading it.

This remains one of the most debated topics in Patriots history. Subsequent reporting by Seth Wickersham and others suggested Kraft did have a role in the decision to keep Brady and move Jimmy, though Belichick executed the deal.
