Tennessee is the best they have been since their 1998 national title team

This is the best Tennessee team since the [1998 team] led to a national title. Yep, for sure.

Tennessee finished the 2022 season 11-2 and won the Orange Bowl, their highest win total and best finish since 2001 (and arguably 1998 in terms of hype).

I enjoy watching the Broncos on primetime because the brand of bad football is a fascinating story every time

I actually, I'm gonna say this and I know this, people will be like, 'Oh, you're just saying this to be opposite,' I enjoy having the Broncos on primetime football because every time it's a story. It's bad football but you see something new every time and it's a weird story. It became so hilariously bad that it's interesting. There's something about a Broncos primetime game that it's fascinating to watch because it's just a car crash for 60 minutes plus.

Subjective opinion on entertainment value. The 2022 Broncos did remain a fascinatngly bad story for most of the season.

Russell Wilson is a mentally broken man

I think yes, there is [something wrong with Russell Wilson]. I think mentally he's a broken man.

While subjective, Wilson's tenure in Denver was statistically the worst of his career and he was eventually benched and released, supporting the idea of a major breakdown in his play.

Nathaniel Hackett may be a good offensive coordinator, but he is clearly not prepared to be an NFL head coach

Nathaniel Hackett might be an offensive guru... but you also have to be like, 'Wait, this is something that you're just not prepared for at all.' Just because you're a good offensive coordinator doesn't mean you know how to do all this stuff [like picking up blitzes and making adjustments].

Hackett was fired before completing his first season (the first such firing in Broncos history), which strongly validates the 'not prepared' take.

Indiana is the favorite to win the national championship among the remaining four teams

I think you'd have to call Indiana the favorite. I mean, they, they've been the most consistent all year long. They've played the best in the biggest games all year long. And that goes back to, to when they went to Eugene and beat Oregon.

Indiana was the favorite and won the national championship 27-21 over Miami, completing a 16-0 season.

Oregon's Kenyon Sadiq is a unique weapon with no equal in college football

Kenyon Sadiq, their tight end. There's nobody like Kenyon Sadiq in the whole country. He's, you know, 240 pounds, but runs like a, a really fast corner.

This is a subjective evaluation of a player's physical uniqueness and talent compared to his peers.

The winner of Oregon vs. Indiana will be the favorite to win the national championship

Whoever wins this game is gonna be favored in the national championship. I think it's, yeah, it's fair to point out that while Indiana looks super impressive... Oregon appears to be a much more formidable opponent.

Andy Staples predicted the winner of Oregon vs. Indiana in the CFP semifinal would be favored in the national championship. Indiana routed Oregon 56-22 and then entered the national championship as the #1 seed and favorite against #10 Miami, which they won 27-21.
