Caleb Williams would be the first overall pick in the 2023 draft if he were eligible

Caleb Williams... He'd be the first pick in this year's draft if he could come out... there's not a clear cut. If he was in this draft it would be Caleb Williams and then everybody else. He's that good.

Caleb Williams was indeed the consensus #1 pick in the 2024 draft and was widely considered a better prospect than those in the 2023 class.

Draft Day would be one of the worst movies ever if it didn't have real NFL logos

Draft Day would be maybe one of the worst movies of all time if it didn't have the rights to the exact NFL logos and team names. If they had to make up like a fake NFL league, that movie would suck. Turns out that it rocks because it's like, oh, I recognize the Browns logo.

The movie's popularity is highly tied to its authenticity as an NFL-branded product, supporting the claim.

Will Levis cannot be considered a bust because he was not selected in the top 10 of the NFL Draft.

I actually think it's in a weird way, you can't be a bust if you go, if you don't go in the top 10. So now people won't judge [Will Levis] the same. Now he has time to flourish to be a multi-Super Bowl winner.

The label of 'bust' is subjective, but Levis starting games as a rookie and showing potential suggests he hasn't reached bust status yet, though he was eventually benched in year two.

The Arizona Cardinals and the Houston Texans won the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Cardinals and the Texans might have just won the first round draft. I'm gonna give the Texans an A plus because they picked second and third and they got good players.

The Texans drafting the eventual OROY (Stroud) and DROY (Anderson) makes this a very strong take in hindsight.

Quarterbacks should take less on-field money to play for the Cowboys because the off-field marketing revenue is massive.

If you play for the Dallas Cowboys, whatever you don't make on the field, you can make up off the field on the mattress company that Dak [Prescott] is promoting. I think it's worth it to take a little less money on the field, have better players on the field, and open up even more doors if you win a Super Bowl off the field to making money marketing-wise in Dallas.

This is a business strategy opinion that depends on a player's risk tolerance and personal brand.

Bryce Young has the lowest ceiling among the top 2023 QB prospects because he is a 'finished product' coming out of Alabama.

I think at the end of the day, if you're Carolina, you want a guy that's gonna play week one. And the guy that's most ready to play in week one is Bryce. But he is also got the lowest ceiling because he's been coached by the best of the best at Alabama... you're getting a finished product. He doesn't need to be coached a ton. He doesn't need to be taught a ton... there's not a ton of upside like there was with Josh Allen five years ago.

Young's struggles as a starter for the Panthers led to his benching in 2024, suggesting Palmer's concern about his ceiling/upside was prescient.

If a quarterback has not learned how to fall correctly by the time they reach the NFL, they will continue to get injured.

If you're trying to figure out how to fall correctly at 24 in year three in the NFL, that's a problem. You learn how to absorb hits in junior high and high school. If you are trying to figure it out and trying to perfect that part of the game in year 2, 3, 4 in the NFL, you're probably gonna be getting hurt a lot.

Tua Tagovailoa notably stayed healthy for the entire 2023 season after this training, though he suffered another major concussion in 2024, leaving the efficacy of the training debated.
