Netflix might have paid extra to rig the NBA Finals for the 'Starting 5' documentary

Do you think Netflix maybe paid extra to have this [Pacers vs. Thunder] be the finals matchup and a game seven? ... Netflix is two for two for getting the finals guy actually. Oh, okay. So yeah, I'm just saying, just throwing it out there.

There is no evidence to support that Netflix has the power or intent to rig NBA outcomes for documentary narrative purposes.

Game 7 is a legacy game for the Thunder and Thunder Princess

I'm calling it tonight. This is a legacy game. Game seven for Thunder and Thunder Princess. This is what it's all about. ... If the Thunder win this game seven, then they're gonna have to answer questions for the rest of their lives about how they tarnished their legacy with this NBA championship.

The outcome of Game 7 is not mentioned in the transcript.

Chet Holmgren is not the guy

[Chet Holmgren] is not the guy... not a guy.

The Thunder reached the Finals in 2025, suggesting Chet is a core piece, but the claim that he isn't 'the guy' is a subjective evaluation of a young star's ceiling.

It is a red flag that prominent NBA owners are cashing out right now

Isn't it interesting that the Lakers got a screaming good deal on what's going to be the face of their franchise for the next 10, 15 years right before they sold? ... Mark Cuban sold the Dallas Mavericks, the Celtics got sold... Is that a good sign for every other owner if all the preeminent owners are selling their teams right now? ... Are we hitting the bubble?

This is an economic observation that can only be judged over years based on whether franchise values continue to skyrocket or level off.

College basketball has five absolutely dominant teams this year

We have five, you could even maybe go to six, just absolutely dominant teams. Michigan, UConn, Duke, Arizona, and Florida that are playing at such an insane level.

The dominance of these teams will be tested in the upcoming NCAA tournament in March 2026.

Florida can win the national championship because they can shoot threes now

Florida though, I've been talking about Florida for three weeks. They could shoot threes now. They absolutely kicked [Arkansas's]... They just throttle teams. All four of [Duke, Michigan, Arizona, Florida] would be the best team in the previous five years.

Whether Florida wins the title or performs as an elite team will be decided by the end of March Madness.

Miami of Ohio will make the tournament even if they lose in the conference tournament

I'm saying right now, winning every... If they go undefeated in the conference, that is so hard to do. I think if they go undefeated in the conference and then lose in the conference tournament, I think they will be in.

This will be resolved on Selection Sunday, March 15th, 2026.
