The visual NBA shot clock inside the paint on broadcasts is stupid and needs to go

This stupid shot clock in the key [on NBA broadcasts], that's gotta go. We as a community of sports fans need to come together and get the NBA to get rid of this. It reminds me of a Rock 'n Jock game.

The NBA and its broadcast partners largely phased out the 'clock in the paint' graphic due to fan complaints, aligning with Big Cat's view.

The Washington Nationals are a team of destiny

I think the Washington Nationals are a team of destiny. I really do. Tonight was a big game, 5-4. To steal one in Houston with Gerrit Cole on the mound... that's got to feel good. They're a team of destiny and the Astros are like America's villain.

The Nationals did indeed win the 2019 World Series in 7 games.

Game 2 might be the last game in Houston for the 2019 World Series

Do you know what we can say now [PFT] now that the Nationals won game one? Tomorrow night might be the last game in Houston. Is it Gerrit Cole's last game, last night in Houston? A lot of people are saying Garrett Kershaw. I'm not saying it, but it was trending.

The 2019 World Series went to seven games, meaning the series returned to Houston for the final two games.

If you are an assistant general manager, your name should never be making headlines for anything

I'm just gonna throw this out there. If you're an assistant general manager, your name should never be making headlines for anything—truth, good or bad. You don't do anything except scout and do your little fucking line graphs and work on spin rate. You should be on a spreadsheet in the back office in the worst lighting possible at all times.

This is a subjective opinion about professional roles and media exposure.

The Ravens are abandoning their draft-and-develop philosophy because they've drafted poorly lately

The Ravens feel like the team for however long, I mean, pretty much their entire history, it's like what they do is they draft really well. They don't have to do these type of moves. And then they do this move... maybe the Ravens haven't drafted as well recently. So now they do have to join everyone else and be these guys.

Subjective analysis of team building strategy.

The Ravens have a three-to-four-year window with Lamar Jackson to go all in and win a Super Bowl

Are the Ravens basically saying Lamar Jackson, he's 29, he's got, we got like a three, four year window where we're gonna have to go all in here? You're kind of forking the road. Are you trying to keep your draft capital to keep reloading around Lamar Jackson? You're like, 'Hey, let's go win this right now.'

The Ravens' success in this window depends on winning a Super Bowl before Lamar Jackson hits his 30s.

The NFL center market is currently the hottest position market in the world

The center market actually feels like it's the hottest market out there. The Packers signed their center who started seven games signed for 11 million a year. The center market just might be the hottest market in the world.

While 'hottest in the world' is hyperbolic, the sentiment reflects the actual 2026 free agency center market trends.
