NFL players hate their locker rooms because college facilities have spoiled them

My theory is that college locker rooms have gotten so out of control good that it's a step back when you go to the NFL. Like college coaches should be like, 'Yeah, you can go pro and make millions of dollars, but you don't get the barber chair.'

This is a subjective theory on player psychology and facility expectations.

NFL owners who purchase their teams provide better facilities than those who inherit them

Nine out of the top 10... excluding the Packers, were teams that the owner purchased the team. And then all the bad [NFLPA] grades essentially were teams where the owners inherited the team, basically fail sons and daughters who are driving whatever they inherited into the ground.

This is largely a subjective analysis of data, but the data cited regarding the top-graded teams (Dolphins, Vikings) vs. the bottom-graded teams (Commanders, Cardinals, etc.) generally supports his observation of 'purchased' vs 'inherited' ownership groups.

You don't want your players to like their strength and conditioning coach

I don't think I'd want my players to give my strength and conditioning coach an A because don't you want like that guy to be the hardest person in the world on you? I think like, you kind of want to hate your strength coach a little bit, right? Like maybe you don't want an F but it getting like a C plus or a B, you want that guy to like push you to be super, super uncomfortable all the time.

This is a subjective philosophy on coaching and player development.

The College Football Playoff will eventually return to regional divisions

I still think it's gonna be no different than cable to streaming back to cable where we're bundling all the streaming. Now they're gonna get to a point where they just start making like regional divisions and it's gonna be like, 'Well, okay, so Oregon, Washington, USC and UCLA are in a division. Why don't we just call it the PAC-4?'

The future structure of college football is currently in flux; this remains a pending prediction for the long-term landscape.

If Duke loses this year, they will be a dynasty of chokers

If they lose this year, that would without question be the best two year... they'd be a dynasty of chokers. Like back to back all time choking losses in the NCAA tournament. I hope that doesn't happen, PFT. We would've never seen anything close to this before.

This is a conditional opinion based on a future outcome.

I'm picking Purdue or Nebraska to win the national title

I think that Purdue, no one's talking about Purdue. They've been hovering around the top. Every time they, they, they start to be discussed in the media. It feels like they lose their next game. I'm gonna say Purdue, my money's on Purdue or Nebraska this year.

The 2026 NCAA tournament hasn't happened yet.

I believe Michigan State's Tom Izzo will return to the Final Four in his final year

I got it feels like the visualization pick of Izzo in his last year. Going back to a Final Four. Feel like that's gonna happen.

Michigan State did not reach the Final Four in 2026.
