Chris Paul might win a championship as Steph Curry's backup

He is now gonna be Steph Curry's backup... a guy who's had beef with for, I don't know, like six, seven years now and he might win a ring as Steph Curry's backup, which would be just so, so fitting for Chris Paul.

The Warriors finished 10th in the West and were eliminated in the Play-In tournament.

Jajuan Howard is the new Coach Calipari because he underachieves despite producing lottery picks

Jajuan Howard's the new coach Cal, that is what made me feel really, really old was Jajuan Howard has a son that just got drafted in the NBA... you see a loaded team [Michigan] get picked and you're like, wait, they weren't in the tournament. That's weird.

Michigan's struggles continued despite high-level talent, and Howard was fired in March 2024 after a 8-24 season.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. is the perfect fit for the Heat culture

Jaime Jaquez to the Heat, like perfect Heat culture. He's going to have a series probably next NBA playoffs where he somehow averages like 25 points a game out of nowhere... he is the perfect Heat culture guy and he will be a very good player in the NBA because he got drafted by the Heat.

Jaquez had an excellent rookie season (11.9 PPG, 3.8 RPG) and made the NBA All-Rookie First Team, proving to be an immediate rotation piece.

Brandon Miller is a genius for claiming Paul George is his GOAT so he wouldn't offend Michael Jordan

I think Brandon Miller is kind of a genius. They interviewed him the other day and he said that his GOAT, his favorite player in NBA history is Paul George. That to me tells me he's thinking two steps ahead because he knew that Charlotte wanted to draft him... He knew that he could not say that it was LeBron James because Michael Jordan is still very much involved in the draft process for Charlotte.

The Hornets did draft Miller at #2. Whether he did it for that specific reason is subjective, but Miller has consistently maintained his Paul George take since.

The Ravens are abandoning their draft-and-develop philosophy because they've drafted poorly lately

The Ravens feel like the team for however long, I mean, pretty much their entire history, it's like what they do is they draft really well. They don't have to do these type of moves. And then they do this move... maybe the Ravens haven't drafted as well recently. So now they do have to join everyone else and be these guys.

Subjective analysis of team building strategy.

The Ravens have a three-to-four-year window with Lamar Jackson to go all in and win a Super Bowl

Are the Ravens basically saying Lamar Jackson, he's 29, he's got, we got like a three, four year window where we're gonna have to go all in here? You're kind of forking the road. Are you trying to keep your draft capital to keep reloading around Lamar Jackson? You're like, 'Hey, let's go win this right now.'

The Ravens' success in this window depends on winning a Super Bowl before Lamar Jackson hits his 30s.

The NFL center market is currently the hottest position market in the world

The center market actually feels like it's the hottest market out there. The Packers signed their center who started seven games signed for 11 million a year. The center market just might be the hottest market in the world.

While 'hottest in the world' is hyperbolic, the sentiment reflects the actual 2026 free agency center market trends.
