Rich Paul is a great disruptor for challenging the NCAA establishment

The NCAA has created a new rule... any agent that wants to talk to a player... has to have a bachelor's degree. Rich Paul does not... As much as it pains me to say this, I love it. Because I love people who make the establishment super nervous. The NCAA has been just milking everyone forever. Having a disruptor in there... is great for everyone because NCAA will have to change if Rich Paul keeps disrupting.

The NCAA eventually rescinded the bachelor's degree requirement following public backlash, proving Paul's influence as a disruptor.

Derek Carr is incredibly awkward on Hard Knocks and acts like a robot impersonating a quarterback

Hard Knocks is back. Derek Carr is awkward as fuck... He was like a robot trying to impersonate a quarterback... It's very clear that the message the Raiders are trying to send is Derek Carr is our quarterback.

Subjective opinion on a player's media performance.

Jon Gruden will prevent anything interesting from being shown on Hard Knocks

It's very obvious that Jon Gruden is not going to let them show anything that's remotely interesting. We just have to hope for next week with Sean McVay trying to out-Gruden Jon Gruden.

The season was generally viewed as less explosive than expected despite having AB and Gruden, though some moments like the feet injury were notable.

The 'I'm a dad now' excuse for behavior expires once your child turns one year old

When do you get to stop using 'I'm a dad'? [LeBron] still does. 'I'm a dad now.' I think you can't use it after your kid's like one. 'I'm a dad now' is different than 'I'm a dad.'

This is a subjective rule for social etiquette.

The Ravens are abandoning their draft-and-develop philosophy because they've drafted poorly lately

The Ravens feel like the team for however long, I mean, pretty much their entire history, it's like what they do is they draft really well. They don't have to do these type of moves. And then they do this move... maybe the Ravens haven't drafted as well recently. So now they do have to join everyone else and be these guys.

Subjective analysis of team building strategy.

The Ravens have a three-to-four-year window with Lamar Jackson to go all in and win a Super Bowl

Are the Ravens basically saying Lamar Jackson, he's 29, he's got, we got like a three, four year window where we're gonna have to go all in here? You're kind of forking the road. Are you trying to keep your draft capital to keep reloading around Lamar Jackson? You're like, 'Hey, let's go win this right now.'

The Ravens' success in this window depends on winning a Super Bowl before Lamar Jackson hits his 30s.

The NFL center market is currently the hottest position market in the world

The center market actually feels like it's the hottest market out there. The Packers signed their center who started seven games signed for 11 million a year. The center market just might be the hottest market in the world.

While 'hottest in the world' is hyperbolic, the sentiment reflects the actual 2026 free agency center market trends.
