The Eagles are being slept on and will likely win 11 games because no one expected it

I just think the Eagles have been slept on a little bit. I think their offensive line and defensive line are very good. And we went kind of deciding how the NFC East was going to go. Wouldn't it be perfect for the NFC East if the team that was least talked about going into the season? That's what always happens. All right, yeah, so they'll probably go 11-6 somehow.

The 2021 Eagles finished 9-8 and made the playoffs as a wildcard, while the Cowboys won the division. Big Cat was directionally right about them being better than expected but wrong on the 11 wins.

Taylor Heinicke has 'it'

I think Taylor Heinicke has it. I don't know what it is. He's got something. He's got it. The Heineking is what they're calling him.

Heinicke became a cult hero in DC but eventually settled back into a journeyman/backup role, suggesting he had the moxie but lacked the high-end talent to be a franchise savior.

Standalone primetime NFL games that look bad on paper are almost always guaranteed to be awesome

If anything we've learned with the NFL... when you have a game that you say to yourself, this game stinks, it's a standalone primetime game. It is almost always guaranteed to be fucking awesome. Because that game ruled. It was chaos.

This is a subjective 'rule of thumb' about sports entertainment that can't be objectively proven.

Daniel Jones is the fastest player in the NFL

He's the fastest player in the NFL that's what next gen stats taught us last year he was faster than Lamar Jackson

While Jones did record the fastest top speed in 2020 (21.23 mph), he is not consistently the fastest player compared to Tyreek Hill or Lamar Jackson.

The selection committee did a great job and correctly left out Oklahoma and Auburn

The selection committee has done their job, by the way, credits to selection committee. There was really no issues whatsoever... the first two out were Oklahoma and Auburn and they deserve to be out. Yeah, the bubble, the bubble sucked this year. Maybe an all time bad bubble.

The teams were indeed left out as of the show date.

Duke got screwed with their seeding as the number one overall seed

Duke kind of got fucked a little bit. As the number one overall, none of the best kill everyone. That's what I'm saying. Like if the, if the one knock that you have against the committee is that they kind of fucked over Duke. Like you did a great job committee credit to me.

Subjective opinion on bracket difficulty.

A 'Civil Conflict' second-round matchup between UCF and UConn is a real possibility

If [UCLA] doesn't come back and UCF wins and UConn wins, we got a civil conflict. We got a civil conflict in the second round. That's what I'm looking at.

Pending — the 2026 NCAA Tournament first round has not been played yet.
