Oregon will advance to the Sweet 16 in the 2019 NCAA Tournament

In the region of grind... my breakthrough in this region, I'm going to take Oregon to the Sweet 16... Oregon's defense has been sensational... and as we know, Wisconsin has struggled to score. I think it's a really difficult matchup.

Oregon (a 12 seed) beat Wisconsin and UC Irvine to reach the Sweet 16.

Bracket regions should be named Top Left, Bottom Left, Top Right, and Bottom Right to be standard across all websites

I don't like [the pod system]. Let's make it standard because my biggest problem with March Madness and the whole bracket system in general is it's usually not standard across all the different sports websites out there. It should be called top left, bottom left, top right, bottom right. Make it easy for me.

This is a subjective organizational preference for how brackets are presented.

Oregon will upset Wisconsin in the first round of the 2019 NCAA Tournament

Check out that Oregon-Wisconsin game, which is a one-and-a-half-point underdog for Oregon. Huge upset coming. I've been betting on them a bunch... I was basically putting Oregon in and going to sleep.

Oregon (12) defeated Wisconsin (5) 72-54.

Conference championship games on Selection Sunday do not matter for NCAA tournament seeding

Everyone thinks that the conference championship games matter a ton, but if you think the committee... The committee's just like us. They're fucking lazy. They're not going to sit there and watch the Big Ten championship and be like, well, now we've got to change everything we've done all weekend. They filled it out. They're ready to go.

The committee has historically claimed to have multiple versions of the bracket ready, but analysts often find Sunday results have minimal impact on seeding.

UNC getting into the tournament is the biggest miscarriage of justice in 20 years

This is one of the biggest miscarriage of justices that I have seen in all my years covering college basketball... North Carolina was one and 12 against quad one opponents. That is just a fact of life... My heart breaks for West Virginia, it breaks for Indiana that North Carolina got this opportunity instead of them.

Automatic Qualifiers (AQs) should always play on Thursday/Friday, while at-large teams play in the First Four

I think if you're good enough to get an automatic qualifier to the NCAA tournament, you deserve to partake in the Thursday and Friday of the first week... put the last eight at large teams in the first four, it would reward these programs again at the lower level and give them the NCAA tournament experience.

Tom Izzo and Michigan State will return to the Final Four this year

I've got Auburn against then Michigan State in a regional final Atlanta. And I've got Tom Izzo getting back to the final four.

Michigan State lost to Auburn in the Elite Eight (70-64) and did not make the Final Four. Auburn advanced instead.
