The NBA play-in tournament gives bad teams a false sense of hope that they actually have a chance to win

I'm starting to sour on the play-in game. ... The NBA rigged it so that everyone has a chance so that everyone can stay invested. But it's like, do you really have a chance? ... Nobody really has a chance. ... They are right now two games out of the 10th seed and they're 23 and 27.

Since this is an opinion on league structure, it is subjective.

The late hit penalty on Joseph Ossai was 100% the correct call

The late hit call was good. That was the correct call. It was 100% the correct call. ... That's not a ref complaint because they got that right. And people who were upset about that call, they call that a hundred times out of a hundred times.

Officiating experts and the league office confirmed it was a clear late hit as Mahomes was well out of bounds.

The NFL is rigged and scripted to get Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl

The NFL is rigged, rigged. It's rigged for ratings or for money. ... This shit is fucking rigged. The NFL is rigged. I don't, it's scripted everything... They want Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl.

The NFL is not literally scripted by Hollywood writers.

Kirk Cousins has had a better NFL career than Tony Romo

I had a take last week that Kirk Cousins has had a better NFL career than Tony Romo did. ... I would rather have Kirk Cousins as the quarterback of my team for his whole career than Tony Romo. That's a fact.

Subjective comparison of two quarterbacks with similar profiles (high stats, limited playoff success). Romo has better peak accolades (All-Pro), Cousins has more longevity and volume.

The Ravens are using a physical loophole to back out of the Maxx Crosby trade

I'm calling bullshit on all this. It does feel like something's fishy here. And maybe it's just the Ravens using the loophole of, hey, we can see, we can trade for Maxx Crosby, see how the rest of free agency plays out, knowing that this stupid legal tampering and then official free agency, there's a two day gap and then just figure it out later.

The trade was literally rescinded, but the 'nefarious loophole' theory is a subjective interpretation of front office tactics.

The NFL needs a 'no-backsies' rule for players who post elaborate social media goodbye videos

If you post a 13 minute goodbye video on social media like Maxx Crosby did, that should just be trade final. You can't come back on that... I actually am rooting for Maxx Crosby to be on the Raiders now because that will be so awkward and funny.

This is a humorous rule proposal, not a verifiable prediction.

The Panthers were right to overpay for Jaelan Phillips

The Panthers getting Jaelan Phillips, even though it was a lot of money, I feel like you gotta do it. Cap went up and I feel like you have to do those type of moves, especially when you are a playoff team from last year. Your defense was a problem... I'd be like, oh, Howie's interested? I'll give him more money.

The success of the Panthers' defense with Phillips will determine if the overpay was justified.
