The way to stop the 'Tush Push' is to physically assault the quarterback

How do you stop it? It's really simple. The defensive tackles have to get down very, very low and take out those offensive linemen. And then you have to have linebackers that are willing to come over the top with forearms and elbows and just go right at the quarterback. You have to physically hit the dude. If you bring bodily harm, then he'll tell his coach, 'Hey man, we might want to cancel that.'

This is a tactical opinion on defensive strategy.

The Detroit Lions are for real

The Detroit Lions are for real. They go into Lambeau, they punch the Packers in the mouth. David Montgomery was absolutely unstoppable. They've gone to Arrowhead, they've gone to Lambeau, they won both games as road teams and they are looking great.

The Lions finished 12-5, won the NFC North, and reached the NFC Championship game.

It would take a Super Bowl win for people to start hating Lions fans

I don't think people will hate Lions fans unless they win a Super Bowl and then they would start to hate them. It's kind of like the Cubs or the Red Sox, where after they won theirs, people started to hate it. But the first one, I think people would all be about because it is a tortured fan base.

This is a subjective take on sports fan psychology.

Damian Lillard is past his prime

I think Damian Lillard's a little old, a little past his prime. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are in their prime. Damian Lillard's washed up.

Lillard had a down year by his standards in 2023-24 but was still an All-Star and hit major playoff shots, though the Bucks were eliminated early.

The Los Angeles Rams are the most trustworthy team in the NFL right now

If you force me to pick one, I'd probably say the Rams. Matthew Stafford is playing at an MVP level. The defense is young, it's outstanding. ... I clearly trust the Rams more than anybody. I think they've been the most consistent team so far.

The Rams were one of the most trustworthy (12-5, MVP QB, NFCCG), but the Seahawks (14-3, SB champs) were ultimately more trustworthy.

The quarterbacks for Jacksonville, Miami, Philadelphia, and Arizona are the highest-paid players on their teams but are not the best players

Jacksonville, Miami, Philadelphia, Arizona—you know what those four teams have in common? The quarterback is the highest paid player on the team, but he's not the best player. ... when you have that dynamic... there's always something when the guy making the most money is not the best player.

The ranking of 'best player' is subjective, though the compensation is a fact.

This will be AJ Brown's last season with the Philadelphia Eagles

This is my gut feeling. I think this is AJ Brown's last season in Philadelphia. I think regardless of whether they win the championship or not, I think they're gonna move on from him. And Howie Roseman will continue to do what he's done masterfully, which is rebuild this team.

Whether Brown is traded or released after the 2025 season is pending.
