Caleb Williams is the correct pick at number one for any NFL team

Caleb Williams is the right pick to make at number one right now. Right? If the chiefs had had number two in that 2017 draft, they would've probably taken Patrick Mahomes. I don't know if there's another team that if they had number one would taken anyone but Caleb Williams.

Williams was indeed the consensus #1 and was drafted there by the Bears. His career success is pending.

The Murray State Racers are the worst team in the country

I wish someone had told me that Murray State Racers were the worst team in the country. Oh, did they? Fuck you. Oh man, they fucked me bad.

Murray State finished with a KenPom ranking of 199 out of 362, making them roughly average, not the worst.

Tennessee and Houston are my two picks to win the NCAA Tournament

I'm heavily leveraged in the Volunteers this year. I think Tennessee and Houston are my two picks.

Both teams failed to win the title. Houston lost in the Sweet 16 and Tennessee lost in the Elite 8. UConn won the tournament.

Dalton Knecht might get shoved around by physical teams in March

Watching him play last night, I was thinking to myself like, I could see [Dalton Knecht] getting shoved around in March. I could see like a physical team just like, whoa, Houston putting the, yes, exactly. I could see a tough team like Houston, Kelvin Sampson being like, go out there and beat the fuck outta the skinny guy.

Knecht actually performed well in March, scoring 37 points in the Elite 8 loss to Purdue, showing he could handle physicality.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
