Fernando Mendoza will be a good quarterback in the NFL.

Fernando Mendoza is gonna be good in the NFL. I, I believe that. He makes big throw after big throw. And just because he's a little quirky doesn't mean he is not an awesome quarterback.

Mendoza's NFL career has not yet happened/begun at the time of this evaluation.

The Ravens are broken right now.

The Ravens are broken. They, they look off. Lamar [Jackson] looks off. He had a bad interception. He, he was, he, Zay Flowers, he was getting it going with him a little bit. He ran a little bit, but, and, and the Ravens could run the ball in this game... They just suck in the red zone.

The Ravens finished the 2024 season strongly despite this mid-season slump, so calling them 'broken' based on one game is a subjective overreaction.

The Steelers will lose to the Dolphins on Monday Night Football.

Oh, they're playing the Dolphins on Monday Night Football. They're [Steelers] gonna lose. [PFT: They're Yeah. Probably gonna lose that game. Take Dolphins.]

The Steelers defeated the Dolphins, making this prediction incorrect.

Tyler Shough is the best quarterback in the 2025 draft class.

I'm an in on [Tyler] Shough. Best quarterback of the class.

Shough was not the first QB taken in 2025 and did not have the most successful rookie year, making this a bold miss.

The goal allowed by the US goalie was the most embarrassing possible

What about the goalie? Yeah, I mean he... that was the most embarrassing goal that I've ever seen. Possible.

While subjective, the blunder by the US goalkeeper (Freeze/Turner) was widely mocked as a 'MAC football' level mistake.

The USMNT is the 'James Franklin Penn State' of soccer

People were making very mean jokes online that we were James Franklin, Penn State. And it is actually perfectly appropriate because if you look at who we played, we beat the teams we're supposed to beat... and then we absolutely got ass fucked by the team that was better than us in Belgium. We are not who we thought we were.

Subjective comparison.

We just suck at soccer as a country and that's okay

My take is we suck at soccer and that's okay. Like, I don't care that we suck at soccer anymore. I'm going to root for the US team. I'm gonna get excited when we're in a World Cup. I'm gonna get hyped up and it's gonna be fun to watch. And then I'm gonna be reminded that we suck at soccer and that it's just gonna be like, okay, yeah, that's okay.

Subjective perspective on American soccer.
