Mitchell Trubisky is going to be a star in the NFL

Mitch Trubisky is going to be a star. Sit [Sanchez] for Mark Sanchez and run the butt fumble play every single down. ... I like Mitch Trubisky. I think he's going to be good.

Trubisky did not become a star; he was eventually benched and became a career backup after a disappointing tenure in Chicago.

NFL teams should have a college game ready to play on 12 hours notice if a baseball playoff game gets rained out

So why doesn't the Sun Belt... [if] there's a rain out of an important baseball game, they should have a game ready to go on 12 hours notice.

This is a satirical scheduling suggestion that has never been implemented.

A manager getting ejected rallies the team like a big hit in hockey

When a manager gets kicked out, it rallies the troops like a big hit in hockey.

This is a subjective psychological claim about team momentum that cannot be definitively proven.

The Brewers' pressure created their 'lucky' breaks

That's not luck. That's just the Brewers and what they did to you mentally, where it's like you have to be perfect and almost made teams just become a worse version of themselves because of what the Brewers were doing to them.

This is an evaluative baseball argument rather than a claim with one definitive result.

The Bears are building around Jeffrey Simmons correctly

Jeffrey Simmons is an absolute game wrecker. Top three at his position, changes everyone around him. The Bears had a weakness in their defense, especially run defense. They made it a strength.

The assessment of Simmons' impact and positional ranking is partly subjective and will depend on his Chicago performance.

Jeffrey Simmons makes the Bears Super Bowl contenders

I thought they could win the Super Bowl before Jeffrey Simmons. Now I really do.

The 2026 NFL season and Super Bowl outcome have not yet been resolved from the episode date.
