Scotty Pippen is doing a great job promoting his bourbon because his controversial takes are keeping him in the news

I actually think he's doing a great job of pitching this bourbon... because everyone's talking about Scotty Pippen, but calling Phil Jackson racist for drawing up a winning play to Toni Kukoc... it goes against everything that everyone knows... he's on a scorched earth tour just getting back at everybody.

While Pippen got the attention he sought, the 'scorched earth' tour significantly damaged his reputation with many peers and fans, making the 'great job' claim debatable.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's ligaments are made of rubber bands because a normal body would have 'blown up' after that injury

Giannis, I don't know, he like broke his leg. ACL? Yeah. Doctor David PFT says, 'I personally think it's an MCL.' ... but whatever it is, his ligaments are not made out of ligaments. They're made out of like rubber bands. Because it's crazy. Like my leg would have, my body would have just blown up, given up at that point.

Giannis famously returned just a week later to win the NBA Finals MVP, proving he did indeed have incredible recuperative powers, though 'rubber bands' is obviously metaphorical.

NBA teams should sign stars and then only play them once the role players have won the early playoff series

Reggie Miller was mega right about resting the players. You should just, the new formula should be you sign star players and then you just try to win all the playoff series against inferior teams with your role guys. And then you put your stars back in for the fight.

This is an intentionally absurd strategy that no team would actually implement.

The 2021 NBA Playoff injuries are mostly freak occurrences rather than a result of the shortened season

I still believe... that this is the weirdest playoffs ever... a lot of these injuries are kind of freak injuries that I don't know if that has anything to do with playing the season was shortened rests off of the bubble. I just think there's a lot of freak injuries. They've happened all at once.

This remains a debated topic among sports scientists and NBA fans; while some injuries like AD's could be load-related, others like Trae Young stepping on a ref's foot are clearly freak events.

American sports dominance is officially over

Are we as a country washed? because this also is on the heels of shams announcing SGA back to back MVP and I think it's been like nine years, I believe eight years since an American has won the NBA MVP... and Aaron Rai, it's the second European to win a major this year and Europeans are now two and oh in majors for the first time since 1934.

While hyperbolically stated, the fact that international players have dominated NBA MVPs (Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, SGA) for nearly a decade is factual.

The Steelers will be stuck with a 7-10 win ceiling with Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is back. I feel bad for Steelers fans... he's not the same quarterback... the Steelers just put a finite floor and ceiling on their season. Right? And it's somewhere between seven and 10 wins. That's what we're thinking.

Outcome depends on the 2026 NFL season results for the Steelers.

The Chicago White Sox are no longer a joke and could win the AL Central

White Sox are good. They're actually like, this is finally like, it's kind of, they're not a joke. They've got some sluggers. Big time dude... I don't know what the price is for them winning the AL Central, but they, they, they are not a bad team.

White Sox performance in the 2026 MLB season is ongoing.
