The 2020 MLB season should be as weird as possible, including restructured divisions

If this season is going to be weird make it really fucking weird... I love this idea that they're going to restructure how the divisions are... it would be so disappointing if they did a shortened baseball season and nothing was different... I don't need to see the Cubs for the Pirates 19 times. I want to see weird shit happened.

MLB did implement several 'weird' changes for 2020, including a 60-game season, universal DH, 7-inning doubleheaders, and the 'ghost runner' in extra innings.

Jameis Winston signing with the Saints is a genius move to eventually become the starter in waiting

It actually is genius move by him because Drew Brees you have to think... maybe this year's is last year. Maybe he's got two more years. If you could ingratiate yourself to Sean Payton and what they have going on there... that's actually a very smart thing to do to be the guy in waiting.

Jameis did eventually become the starter for the Saints in 2021 after Brees retired, although injuries hampered his tenure.

Jameis Winston's passer rating is 35 points higher on turf than on grass

His grass versus Turf split you ready for this... on grass 22 touchdowns 27 interceptions on Turf 11 touchdowns three interceptions. Wow, his passer rating is almost it's 35 points higher on Turf than it is in Grass.

The splits mentioned for Jameis's 2019 season were 78.4 on grass and 113.8 on turf—exactly a 35.4 point difference.

If Jameis Winston throws zero touchdowns and zero interceptions this year, he'll still be second all-time at the age of 27 for both stats, only behind Dan Marino

I got a stat for you: if Jameis Winston throws zero touchdowns and zero interceptions this year, he still will be second all-time at the age of 27 for touchdowns and interceptions, only behind Dan Marino.

By age 27 (end of 2021 season), Winston had 135 TDs and 91 INTs. Marino had 196 TDs and 131 INTs. Winston was actually quite high on the list for volume at that age due to starting so young, though the 'zero TD/INT' hypothetical is a bit of a stretch.

The goal allowed by the US goalie was the most embarrassing possible

What about the goalie? Yeah, I mean he... that was the most embarrassing goal that I've ever seen. Possible.

While subjective, the blunder by the US goalkeeper (Freeze/Turner) was widely mocked as a 'MAC football' level mistake.

The USMNT is the 'James Franklin Penn State' of soccer

People were making very mean jokes online that we were James Franklin, Penn State. And it is actually perfectly appropriate because if you look at who we played, we beat the teams we're supposed to beat... and then we absolutely got ass fucked by the team that was better than us in Belgium. We are not who we thought we were.

Subjective comparison.

We just suck at soccer as a country and that's okay

My take is we suck at soccer and that's okay. Like, I don't care that we suck at soccer anymore. I'm going to root for the US team. I'm gonna get excited when we're in a World Cup. I'm gonna get hyped up and it's gonna be fun to watch. And then I'm gonna be reminded that we suck at soccer and that it's just gonna be like, okay, yeah, that's okay.

Subjective perspective on American soccer.
