The 2022 Winter Olympics are failing because the NHL players aren't participating

The Olympics are a fucking fact that hockey, like the pros don't play. That's what draws everyone in. Like if team USA was playing Russia tomorrow morning, we would wake up and watch it. We'd wake up and watch it.

The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics were the lowest-rated ever in the U.S. While many factors contributed, the absence of NHL stars in the hockey tournament was widely cited as a major loss for the Games' marquee event.

Seeing Matthew Stafford succeed is a slap in the face to the Lions organization

Everything that they, when they say something nice about Matthew Stafford, it's such a slap in the face to the Lions. And I know that like, look, bad organizations are bad organizations... but they're like, yeah, Matthew Stafford, this is moment. He was spent so many years just on that terrible team with that terrible organization. Yes. It's like, he got out of hell. It's like, he's the first man to ever escape the devil.

Stafford won the Super Bowl in his first year away from Detroit, confirming the premise that the organization was the primary hurdle.
