The Eagles will draft a quarterback in the early rounds

I think they might draft a quarterback. ... What if you fell it to the second, what if you fell to the second max? Like there's been a history in Philadelphia of drafting guys in the second round when you don't really necessarily think that they're in the market for a quarterback

The Eagles did draft a quarterback (Cole Payton, North Dakota State) — but with the 178th pick in the 6th round, not the 'early rounds.' Big Cat had floated rounds 1-2.

Duke is the best team in the country and it would be an all-time failure if they don't win the title

This is the best team in the country. It would be an all time epic failure if Duke doesn't win the national title. They are the first time I believe that a team has reached plus 40 in Ken Palm since 1999. Duke... This team has it all.

Duke was #1 overall seed and blew a 19-point halftime lead to lose 73-72 to UConn in Elite Eight. It was an all-time failure — Duke was 134-0 when leading by 15+ at half in tournament history.

If Duke loses this year, they will be a dynasty of chokers

If they lose this year, that would without question be the best two year... they'd be a dynasty of chokers. Like back to back all time choking losses in the NCAA tournament. I hope that doesn't happen, PFT. We would've never seen anything close to this before.

Duke blew a 19-point halftime lead in 2026 Elite Eight to UConn, one year after a 2025 Final Four collapse. Two consecutive years as top team with epic collapses validates 'dynasty of chokers.'

Duke not winning the national title would be the most consequential sports story of all time

I think it would be the biggest sports story of all time. If Duke did not win the national title this year. All time. I think all time story... Duke not winning at all this year would be the biggest, the most consequential sports story of all time. Not our lifetimes of all time.

Duke's Elite Eight collapse was a massive story but calling it 'the most consequential sports story of all time' is hyperbolic by nature. Subjective claim.

The Myles Garrett trade to the Rams is a win for both teams

I know this is lame, but My take is wins all around. [The Rams] have proven that they can do this... basically, as an organization, realized that they can figure out a way to still compete without having draft capital. And the Browns, I think is, it's, it's very smart for them because they weren't gonna compete this year for anything meaningful. Now they have two first round picks.

This is a subjective evaluation of a major trade in the show's 2026 timeline.

The Browns are positioning themselves to draft a franchise quarterback in the 2027 NFL Draft

It feels like the Browns are building to a point where they gotta get the QB next year in the draft. And if they do, a lot of the other things are starting to fall into place. ... they now have two first round picks. Now they have flexibility.

The take refers to the 2027 draft (next year from the 2026 season's perspective); the outcome remains pending.

Myles Garrett is the best player at his peak to ever be traded in NFL history

I would say he's probably the best player who's ever been traded in terms of he's the defensive... he just set the sack record. He's the defensive player of the year. I'm saying like the peak, peak powers, Myles Garrett just had.

While historical trades exist (Walker, Faulk), Garrett being a reigning DPOY and sack record holder makes this a strong, albeit debatable, claim.
