The Warriors might be Bulletproof and can come back from any deficit

The warriors might be the only team that can be Bulletproof... they can come back from anything.

The Warriors eventually won the 2022 NBA title, supporting the idea of their 'bulletproof' nature during this run.

The Mavericks' formula for winning is Luka Doncic scoring 28 while three other starters score in the high teens

That's the formula more [Mark] Cuban should just be like, Hey, every night Luka you go out there and you score 28 and also have like three other starters in the late teens, early twenties.

While this happened in Game 4, the Mavericks ultimately lost the series to the Warriors in five games, suggesting this 'formula' wasn't enough to overcome Golden State.

Bam Adebayo defers too much to Jimmy Butler when they are on the floor together

I do think that there is something to the fact that like when Jimmy Butler, when he's on your team, like he has to be the alpha... and bam, we'll step into the dog roll when Jimmy's not there. But when he's around, he's always going to be the one that's like deferential to us and like lacks a little bit of confidence in himself because Jimmy's out there doing his Jimmy thing.

Subjective analysis of team chemistry and player psychology.

Robert Williams III is the most important defender on the Celtics

100%. If Robert Williams [III] was healthy all year, he would have been the defensive player [of the year].

Williams was elite but Smart won the award. Williams' career has since been hampered by the health issues Hank mentions.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
