The Rays are playing an exciting brand of baseball

It's a very, very exciting brand of baseball. And I'm gonna miss it when it's over. So I did not wanna sweep, so thank you.

The Eagles' defense gave up before the season ended

They gave up on the season before that game started last night, and they had zero interest of playing football.

This is an interpretation of effort and intent rather than a claim with a definitive objective resolution.

A 24-team College Football Playoff is starting to make sense

I'm starting to grow on it. My problem is, I'm thinking about it in just this year where we actually had parity.

Conference championship games mean nothing in the 12-team playoff era

I'm fully done with conference championship. It means absolutely nothing. It used to mean a lot. It used to be awesome. Means zilch now.

The importance of conference championships is an evaluative question rather than a definitively resolvable fact.
