Tyreek Hill will break the single-season receiving yards record

Tyreek Hill... is on pace for 2077 yards, which would be a record, obviously the extra game. No one's ever had 2000 receiving yards in the NFL in a season.

Tyreek Hill finished the season with 1,799 yards, failing to break Calvin Johnson's record or reach 2,000.

The Cleveland Browns are for real

The Cleveland Browns are seven and three. The Cleveland Browns win with a, their third string quarterback in DTR. The Cleveland Browns are for real.

The Browns finished 11-6 and made the playoffs with a top-tier defense, proving they were indeed 'for real'.

If Joe Flacco wins a Super Bowl with the Browns, he's won two and he's definitively elite — I put a thousand dollars on it at 50-to-1

It would be so awesome if Joe Flacco won a Super Bowl with these Browns. As of Friday I put a thousand dollars future on the Browns thinking that they were gonna get Joe Flacco. So it pays out 50 to 1. If Joe Flacco wins a Super Bowl and he does his normal Joe Flacco thing where he doesn't make any mistakes, gets the pass interferences — that would contribute so much to the Flacco discourse. At that point he's won two Super Bowls. He's elite.

Flacco did not win the Super Bowl with the Browns. They made the playoffs but lost in the Wild Card round to the Texans 45-14.

The Steelers' season is over if they lose to the Bengals next week

They're not, the season's not dead yet. But if they drop, if they drop this next game at the Bengals season's cooked.

The Steelers beat the Bengals 16-10 the following week and eventually made the playoffs with a 10-7 record.

Michigan was definitively the better team in the National Championship and it never felt like UConn was in danger of winning.

Michigan was the better team. We all saw it. It never felt like [the game] was in danger. Like the only moment that I was like, oh, UConn might have a chance, was when there was like maybe five and a half minutes left and Mullens missed that three to cut it to four.

The episode presents Michigan winning the 2026 National Championship as a fact within the show's timeline.

Michigan was the best team all year — outside of Duke, who would have won the championship by a lot

They were the best team. They were the best team all year outside of Duke. 'Cause that actually was my other big takeaway — Duke just completely, Duke beat this Michigan team a month and a half ago.

Subjective comparison of team quality. Duke did beat Michigan during the regular season in 2025-26.

Danny Hurley is 18-1 against the spread in his last four NCAA tournaments, which is insane

Danny Hurley remains 18 and one in the last four tournaments against the spread. How insane is that? Furman is the only one that they didn't cover. That was the first round this year.

This is a factual claim about Hurley's ATS record over the last four NCAA tournaments. Based on UConn's remarkable tournament run, this is plausible and presented as a known stat. Cannot fully verify exact record but the claim is stated as fact.
