Pulling Blake Snell from the World Series was a mistake driven by numbers over gut

I think he [Kevin Cash] went with the numbers and didn't go with his gut... Blake Snell, no pitcher really should want to come out unless they injure themselves... he wasn't close to being done.

This is a permanent debate in baseball, but the outcome (the Rays losing immediately after) made it an infamous decision.

The Steelers are the worst 11-0 team of all time

Yeah, I think it's fair to say the Steelers are the worst 11-0 team of all time.

While subjective, the 2020 Steelers are frequently cited as the worst 11-0 team ever given their late-season collapse and first-round playoff exit.

The Steelers should try to lose to the Washington Football Team to reset their season for a 'revenge tour'

I actually think that they should try to lose a game just so that everyone can be down on them and then they can come back and be like, fuck you, revenge tour in the playoffs. They should probably lose this game against the Washington football team.

The Steelers did lose to Washington, but they did not have a 'revenge tour'; they collapsed, losing 4 of their last 5 and getting bounced in the first round.

If Big Ben Roethlisberger is benched for rest in Week 17, he won't be mentally ready for the playoffs

I do think that if they were to bench Ben Roethlisberger and some of their other starters later on in the season, like week 17, I don't think that Big Ben comes back ready for the [playoffs]. I think he will believe that he is benched because he's injured in that one week off. And then that's going to mess with him mentally.

Roethlisberger did rest in Week 17 and then threw 4 interceptions in a Wild Card loss to the Browns, arguably proving the 'not ready' part of the take.

I am 75% sure Sean McVay will win a Super Bowl in Los Angeles

Let me say that the Rams will pull it together. And I would say, a 75% yes that McVay's stay in Los Angeles will produce a Super Bowl victory.

Sean McVay won Super Bowl LVI with the Rams in February 2022.
