Jalen Brown complaining about flopping after losing game seven is loser talk

I gotta put my hand up on that one. That is sour grapes. That is loser talk. You just lost game seven and then not complain, but kind of bitch on that. That is a little bit of loser talk. If you're a good competitor, you're gonna be a sore loser. If you win the game, it's not a problem. Every shit happens in every NBA game that's ever been played.

Subjective judgment about sportsmanship - can't be definitively resolved.

Tyrese Maxey is a top 10 player in the NBA

Tyrese Maxey is a top 10 player in the NBA. And they're, I think it's pretty hard to debate right now, otherwise, because he has done it all year. ... This series, he proved himself to be a top 10 player in the NBA.

While Maxey is elite, top 10 is usually reserved for players like Jokic, Giannis, Luka, etc. Maxey is generally considered top 15-25.

Joel Embiid has successfully shifted his career narrative with this series win

I think Joel Embiid's narrative is shifting. Shifting but not [yet] shifted. ... Shifting-ING is different than -ED. Narrative shifted for sure. ... He's now shown that he's not like just a regular season guy. He's not a choker.

The narrative around Embiid has historically been centered on second-round failures and injuries; beating a -900 favorite Celtics team in Game 7 certainly impacts that.

Game six might be the last time we see Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown play together

Was game six in this series the last time we will see Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown play together?

Pending - whether Tatum and Brown remain teammates depends on offseason moves.

The Celtics will win Game 7 by 40 points

The Boston people that I follow... that is overdramatic. And that actually makes me feel better that this is when the Celtics do thrive, they come together, they win by 40, they use that momentum and they keep going. So that, that's what I think is gonna happen. They're gonna win by 40.

The Celtics won Game 7 against the Sixers in May 2023 (which this fictionalized transcript refers to) 112-88. A 24-point win is dominant, but not 40.

I now want the Lakers to blow their 3-0 lead so bad

Now I want them to just blow this lead so bad.

Subjective preference, not a falsifiable prediction.

I'm officially calling for a Game 7 between the Celtics and Sixers

The Celtics should blow 'em out in game six, but somehow they're gonna lose. And we're going to game seven. I've resigned to the fact that they're not [winning game six].

The outcome depends on the actual Game 6 result in the show's 2026 timeline.
